He was on time and very professional. He explained thoroughly what needed to be done and the adjustments that had to be made.

When I first purchased the Big Deal I received a quick email to schedule an appointment for the next day from 1-4 pm. When it came to 4:45 pm that day with no call, I called them and was told the plumber was running late and would be out in 30-45 minutes. I had plans so that it was too late for him to come. I was not happy. Why don't providers call when they are running late? I could have changed my plans if I had known sooner that he'd be late. We reluctantly rescheduled another appointment for 2 days later. I did receive a call that the tech was on his way. Roger snaked out a slow drain, explained why it was happening, and gave me some good tips for keeping the drain cleaner. I was very pleased with his work. We had purchased a Big Deal from Mayer to apply to this service. However Roger pointed out a better deal that would save us about $100. So I purchased the other deal while he waited. I am requesting a refund from Angie's List for the first deal. I would have rated Mayer an "A" except for their not communicating on the first appointment.

Deal was deceptive. "$40.00 for $90.00 worth of plumbing" did include $60.00 fee for coming to the house. Deal was worthless. Still cost me $100.00 out of pocket for a simple easy job plus the cost of the Angie's list coupon made this an expensive east of my time and money.

The plumbing technician arrived within the specified time window and was very courteous and friendly. He quickly assessed the problems and replaced the toilet mechanism.

He was very friendly. The repair was done quickly and efficiently. I would recommend them to others and would use them again.

The plumber snaked the drain from the kitchen down and from the basement up. He had to use a mechanical snake after the manual snake did not clear the drain. After the drain was cleared he replaced all of the plumbing under the sink because many joints were mismatch and leaking. The plumber was knowledgable about another issue in our home regarding a sewer ejector pump and talked at length with me about how to address the issue in the future. Mayer Plumbing was very nice to work with and we would use them again. In fact, my neighbor already used them at my recommendation and she was pleased as well.

Plumber was extremely professional. Took time to explain the problems and answer questions. Cleaned up following completion of work.

The tech, Cliff, called promised. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional. He was very quick but efficient. I will use Mayer for any future repairs

It took two separate calls to get scheduled with Mayer. I asked them to snake the driveway drain and the main line in the basement. When they called me after the appointment they told me they were unable to perform any services on the drain in the driveway and when I asked about the main line the service person said he was unaware that's what I requested even though I had spoken to two separate customer service reps and told them I needed both done and that my main concern was to have the basement snaked as my tenants were complaining. I've had the drain in the driveway snaked before, but it may not be serviceable. That doesn't bother me. What does bother me is they wasted my time in setting up an appointment to perform a service that was not performed. I have not been contacted by Mayer to reschedule or to apologize for screwing up the service call. At this point I've paid $99 and received nothing in return.

Everything went very well, and I was happy with the service.

Appointment scheduled between 9-Noon and Jesse arrived at 9:15. He was extremely courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Had the old faucet and soap dispenser out and the new one installed within 45 minutes. Explained the new unit and how to maintain it and the attached sprayer. My only drawback was in reading the "deal" on Angie's List, I thought the facet installation fell under the $90.00 job but was informed it is regularly $149.00+$59.00 service call. Jesse waived the service call fee, but I still owed $59.00. I am still happy with the work and technician, the deal just needs to be more explicit. I am very pleased and will use Mayer and Jesse again!

Unfortunately this did not go well. The first appointment was missed. They gave me a window of 8-10 and I called them at 10:15 and was told that do to call offs they wouldnt be out. It happens. Rescheduled for later in the week. On the new day (another day off of work) called them at 8:45 to make sure someone was coming and once again found out that people had called off so they needed to reschedule to the next week. So I switched plumbers. Disappointed because they had done such a nice job before but I need a reliable company because my time is important and I cant keep taking days off of work.

This company was awesome, on time, affordable, professional, and fast! Even gave us some recommendations on future problems. Definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a reliable plumber.

The job went well but I was unhappy about the increased cost over the estimate. I was quoted a price off $199.00 + a service call charge of $59.00, but when the plumber arrived he gave me a price of $269.00 + the sevice call charge of $59.00. Beware of this if you use them.

Pipe unclogged on its own, no longer needed the service.

Mayer Plumbing was very professional. We would use them again. They came in a cleaned the slow drain. It works great now.

THE PROCESS WENT WELL. THESE GUYS WERE NEAT, CLEAN AND THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING.

Much more pricier than Lowes.

Two men from the company (one in training) came to the house, they were running behind but had called with updates on arrival time. Snaked tub twice, gave us free natural upkeep product for the drain. When they left tub was still filling, contacted office, they made arrangements to come back out. I did not need them to come back out in the end but I was very pleased with their responsiveness and service. I would use them again.

They were a couple hours late. First they were running behind schedule. Then, the driver got lost because he was given the wrong street name from the person who took my call. Task 1: Fix slow drains in bathroom They wanted to charge an outrageous price just to snake the drain. I had to pass on the service. Task 2: Fix leaking pipe for hose bib They did a great job with soldering the copper pipes. They did this job at a fair price. Task 3: Fix dripping shower They wanted to charge an outrageous price. Did not have the parts with them. I had to pass on the service. Task 4: Fix leaking kitchen sink They took the sink drain apart. The gasket was on the wrong side of the sink. When putting it back together, he could not get it to fit right again. They made the sink leak worse than when it started. He did not charge me, but now I have a sink that is worse than what it was. I have to find someone else to solve my problem. Very disappointed.

They came early morning and stayed until about 6:00 p.m. The job was very labor intensive and muddy. They used a jackhammer and many different kind of drills to get the work done. one worker had to crawl on his belly underneath our deck to connect the pipe leading outside, We have a walk out basement so it made it a little easier to bring equipment in and out (also debris). The two men were fun to talk to while they worked and explained things as they went along. After they were done, they cleaned up the whole area. Mayer plumbing will be back on July 17 & 18 to put a clean check backwater valve in our front yard. I'm sure they will do a good job.

I couldn't be more pleased with the service we received from this provider. We were having a new washer and dryer installed when we discovered that the dryer vent duct was shredded. I called Mayer after hours and reached the company's answering service. The operators were extremely polite and efficient. Although our problem was not a true emergency, Mayer called back that evening and offered to send a technician the next morning, the day before the July 4th holiday. The technician, John, was top notch. He was prompt, polite, and knowledgeable. He replaced the duct quickly and was one of the most professional technicians I have ever interacted with. When we informed John that we found Mayer on Angie's List, he gave us a $50.00 discount off of the invoice. I will be calling Mayer again. It is wonderful and a huge relief to have found such a reliable, professional company in this area.

It went well. We were very happy with that. We used the service the same day we purchased it. We were very happy with the guy that was coming to work. He did a good job and finished quickly. The coupon basically takes the money off of our bill; that's essentially the way it works. With regard to price, it may be too early to tell. It seemed a little high to us, but we are new to the area, so I don’t know. The quality was good. They were late to the appointment. They responded fine, but they were late and didn’t tell us that they were coming late.
