 + -1 moredo not shop at mattress matters. all that matters to them is your money...they have no integrity
Description of Work: Mattress Matters was the 3rd store my son and i visited in the 6100 block of mayfield rd. I just needed something temporary to sleep on til my furniture arrived from storage. I selected a twin set only to be told that they did'nt have it at that store,but that we could pick it up at their clearance center on brookpark. The gentleman tied the mattress set to the roof of my son's car and had him sign a form that we were picking up the set.after about a mile of drving on 480 freeway the plastic ties broke and off went the mattress and box springs. the box spring was immediately crushed by a truck..Upon calling the store, i was told that the paper my son signed relieved them of all responsibility even though it was they who actually tied the mattress to the car!!. Brian [salesman] had the nerve to tell me he would 'give' me another one if i gave him $20.! In my opinion these people are crooks with no conscience and i would'nt even buy a bed for my dog there !! If you are smart, avoid this store !!!

 + -1 moreWE HAD ORIGINALLY BEEN TOLD WE COULD RETURN THE MATTRESS IN 30 DAYS. AFTER THE PURCHASE WAS MADE, THE SALESPERSON DISCLAIMED THE PROMISE. THERE WERE SOME SCUFF MARKS ON IT.
