+ 3 moreTom estimated a one week job that turned into three. He started with professional workers but quickly brought his kids in to finish the job and the quality shows the difference. Trim is poorly joined, they made a huge mess with the joint compound and paint that I spent several days scrubbing off the floors. Most importantly, the demolition debris has been sitting in my backyard for a month and a half now. Three weeks after the work was complete, Tom is still promising to haul the trash to the dump, but I haven't seen him yet. The estimate for the job was labor only - I had to purchase all materials.
Description of Work: Removed old drywall from a previous attic conversion. Installed insulation, tacked in new collar beams, and hung a new drywall ceiling and recovered several walls in new drywall. Hung light fixtures. Textured and painted walls. Built a bookcase into one knee-wall.
