good- a written agreement about what was to be done, a picture or diagram, for example - would have been helpful

They were very responsive to my phone call and came out that same evening for a quote. However, when I called him to schedule the work, I asked that we arrange a time so that I could be home while he performed the work. He told me it was impossible to do so. I don't trust anyone who only wants to do work at my house when I'm not home!

Major returned call on the evening of the morning that I called. He said he would come in the morning to give an estimate. He arrived early the next morning and gave me estimates for removing the dead tree, removing another tree that my neighbors want gone, and trimming a 3rd tree. (He was informative and did not pressure me to get work done that I didn't need.) I hired him to just remove the dead tree, and he said he could perform the work later in the day. (I didn't get estimates because I just wanted the tree gone as soon as possible--not sure how he compares on cost.) He returned about three hours later. All the work had to be done in our neighbor's back yard, since the tree was up against our back yard fence. Major not only took down the tree (the stump remains, because it didn't need to be ground down given where the tree is), but he also cleaned up their yard extremely well. I'm quite pleased with the work! I will definitely hire him again!

Excellent. Even though the job was small, they still took care of the removal right away.

OVERALL, I CANNOT RECOMMEND THESE FOLKS ENOUGH. MAJOR AND HIS TEAM CAME OUT TO DO AN ESTIMATE FOR ME WITHIN A HALF AN HOUR OF MY CALLING THEM. THEY BEGAN THE WORK THE NEXT DAY AND COMPLETED OVER 3/4'S OF THE WORK BEFORE MID-AFTERNOON. THEY WORKED WITHIN MY TIME CONSTRAINTS TO RETURN THE NEXT MORNING AND FINISH THE JOB. NOT ONLY WAS THE JOB DONE PROMPTLY AND FOR A VERY REASONABLE COST, BUT THE FOLKS INVOLVED WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO HELP ME OUT. I APPRECIATED THEIR PROFESSIONALISM, HELPFULNESS AND WOULD GIVE THESE GUYS AN A+!

HE IS A VERY NICE MAN, VERY LIKEABLE, CAME OUT ON A SUNDAY AFTER CHURCH.

CALLED FOR ESTIMATE AND NEVER GOT A CALL BACK FROM THEM.

THEY WERE $350 LOWER THAN MY LOWEST ESTIMATE. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THE TREES LOOK EXCELLENT AND I AM GETTING MORE SUN. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME. THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM

REMOVED A TREE, GROUND UP THE STUMP AND REMOVED THAT ALSO. DID A GOOD JOB. EXCELLENT CLEAN UP. COST WAS MUCH LESS THAN OTHER ESTIMATES MEMBER RECEIVED.
