Description of Work: i bought a sofa from him about 1 yr ago.it turned out to be defective; he told me that it will take about 6 to 8 months to get the replacement.he sent a replacement after 9 months which was much worse then original sofa.when i told him to refund or replace; he told me that the company is out of business!then he agreed to send a person for repair who could't repair the sofa.i called him to inform of the issue , his assistant agreed to give me an adjutment of $100.i went to the store to get this $100 adjusted in the price of a bunk bet; he blatantly refused to give this amount.i have called muliple times and talk with the assistant who tells me that the manger mr lou will try to call me back.No response.

Went to showroom to determine what type of furniture I would like to get for a new apartment. I shared with the salesman that I just needed to determine style and shape so I could pick from four floor plans available and that I'd be sure to find him when ready to purchase. He convinced me (I am sad to admit) to purchase today as the types I was drawn to have a three week lead time, and assured me I could cancel at any time prior should I need to for a full refund, just a request of 48 hours was preferred. I paid using their preferred merchant financing provider, however I had to pay tax and delivery with another means as this could not financed. The end result is I managed to find an affordable house, however this purchase would not work. I attempted to cancel the order, but was told only Lou could approve it. After not being able to get Lou on the phone for eight days, Lou told me he'd cancel it and the amounts I paid for tax and delivery would be available in a store credit. Upon sharing what the salesman had said and that there is no such provision in the refund language of their contract he told that this is merely the way it is. Instead of heading to court I made a small purchase with the "credit" that is very nice and priced where I don't believe they made money on it (i.e. I think the products were loss leaders).
