 + -1 moreBecause of work, we had a small window to get moved in. After I explained the situation to Bill, he said that he would be able to get the job done, in the 2 weeks we had. Bill kept his promise and did a fantastic job. He and his team were professional, took pride in their work, and were easy to work with. They were quite helpful!!!
Description of Work: Bill and his team painted the entire interior of our new home. Great room, dining room, office, master and 3 other bedrooms, 2.5 baths, kitchen, and hallways. They also did some repair work.

 + 0 moreOf course it was two of the hottest days of the year! The inside of the garage was stifling, but they put on three coats of paint to Hide the under color. I had a tough time deciding on an outside color, but Bill got a few sample colors and painted a few Boards on the house front and we both decided on the best color. It turned out beautifully. Part of the stucco on the front of The house was cracked. He climbed up to check it and realized the boards were rotted underneath. He's in the process of Finding someone who will come out and fix it. I don't think I've ever had someone come out and do work on the house who has Gone above and beyond what they've come out to do. He's reliable, personable and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to Recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: Painted the inside of the garage, outside of the house, and repaired part of an inside ceiling.

 + -1 moreI might have it in an e-mail when he actually came back and stop by to do an estimate and then within a couple of days he had sent me an e-mail and contacted me by phone. It's for some interior ceiling painting and some door and door jamb painting. I think he was pretty quick getting back and willing to work with my schedule, some vacation came up and job conflict on his side so we just haven't been able to really get together until probably in the beginning of next week as far as starting the project.
Description of Work: I'm still actually working with Lally Painting. It's been a crazy schedule for both of us so when I got the estimate, I decided to go with them but we just kind of got our schedules and it's kind of conflicting and vacation and then doing or having projects on the schedule but it should be probably within the next week we hope to get started.

We scheduled a day to come out for an estimate. He showed up and gave an estimate that we could handle and suggested that the job might take two days. We scheduled a day to come out and he showed up with an assistant and completed the job in one day. It looks great. We will definitely spread the word about Lally Painting.

While he could have made the job sound more necessary to me, he came out frankly and said he did not think repainting was needed prior to renting out the unit. I appreciated this a lot and will certainly call him again when we do decide to repaint.
Description of Work: Prepared an estimate for a possible job painting walls and ceiling in a third floor suite I plan to rent out to students. I ended up finding tenants who did not ask for repainting and forgoing the job until a later year.

 + -1 moreI purchased the big deal to hire two painters for a day. Bill was very personal and stopped by the day before the work was to be performed so he could review the areas to be painted. He was open about what would and would not fit into the 8-hour timeline, which I appreciated. Bill offered to pick up the paint for me so I could benefit from his 20% discount. I gladly accepted his offer and reimbursed him for the paint on the day of the painting. The next day, Bill and Dave arrived on time to paint my entryway, ceiling, hallway, and stairwell. They were friendly, efficient, and professional. The work looks great! I would hire them again.

 + -1 moreThey were absolutely great. Called back very quickly after I left a message. Did confirm shceduling and offered to pick up the paint for us using his discount of 20%. Even called from Home Depot to confirm paint colors. Also confirmed the day before as hasd stated he would do. A man of his word. Came right on time and did the job very nicely in a timely manner. Suggested that it could take a half day more on the phone as he had not seen the rooms in person. In the end, was able to do all in one day at the certificate price. Description of Work: We found Lally Painting on Angie's list. We liked the reviews posted by the customers who had used them in the past and decided to contacted Bill Lally with our painting project. Originally we wanted to paint our family room, the kitchen and the mud room. But in addition to those we had them also paint our master bedroom and master bathroom!

 + 0 moreIt went great. Everything was explained to us as to what had to be done and why. We were updated at the end of each day as to what would be done next and everything was done on time. He even understood when 30min after he had finished painting our nursery I called him to say it had to change because our first ultra sound was wrong and our boy was now going to be a girl :) He was very understanding and the room was completed again the next day before I got home from work! He was very clean and courteous.
Description of Work: He stripped a ton of wallpaper from our bathroom, removed all of the glue and patched any holes that needed to be fixed. Primmed and painted the ceiling, walls and trim. He was able to get it done early in the day, since I am pregnant so that the house had time to air out before I got home. He also, painted our nursery, which he had to technically paint twice because our first ultra sound was wrong but did it with understanding and a smile. And a bedroom we have for our niece. The walls are in pretty rough shape but he was able to cover any major flaws and everything turned our GREAT!

Description of Work: Mr. Lally provided the estimate in a timely manner. He repaired the stairwell walls where wallpaper had been removed and had gouged the walls. He made recommendations to best repair the walls and worked a couple of days to plaster, sand, repair, then plaster and repair again. He then applied the coats of primer and paint. He completed the job by returning four days to stage the work. The end result looked professional and beautiful. He offered to re-attach the curtain mounts and the curtains, but we chose to do this. We also had him paint the ceiling of the entire first floor of our home at the same time. He completed this job in one day. After the ceiling paint dried we noted a problem area where a previous repair had been done. Then we had a problem with a bathroom ceiling he had not painted. He assessed the issues, made his recommendations and offered to fix the areas without additional cost to us. He repaired the ceiling areas by re-plastering, then applying primer and then paint. Both ceiling areas look perfect and the flaws are invisible! We appreciated Mr. Lally"s expertise in repairing and painting our walls and ceilings. He did an excellent job and we would certainly hire him again for our painting jobs in the future.
