Description of Work: My husband and I have hired Tom a number of times. He is prompt and dependable and has always done a great job. Some of the jobs he did for us include: -Chimney sweep -Chimney cap installation and tuck-pointing -Repair of a closet door that was off the track -Replaced burned-out fluorescent TUBE light bulbs (in drop ceiling) -Removed a door from hinges and sanded the bottom (door had been sticking) -Cleaned track and lubricated sliding glass doors (and lubricated hinges on a few other doors that were squeaking) -Removed some gutter debris All around handyman.

+ -1 moreExcellently. Tom is reliable. He has a good work ethic and he is reasonable. He does not over charge. I would highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Tom Solly has serviced our chimney in the past (not recently). His business also encompasses handyman type services, animal removal, etc. It has been > than 5 years since he swept our chimney. He did a great job at that time. (We don't use that fireplace anymore, so haven't had a need for this service since.) I recall that his rate was reasonable. Approximately a year or so ago he repaired a closet door that would not close. It didn't take him long and he did a great job. This past week and today Tom performed some handyman/maintenance type tasks for us, i.e., changed fluorescent bulbs, etc. He is going to trim the shrubs on his next trip here. The price that I posted above includes materials that Tom purchased for the job.

Description of Work: Arrived when promised. Came very well equipped. Adequately protected the premises, carpeting etc. Finished the work very quickly and completely. Quoted a pair of chimney caps for the fireplace and the house furnace. Supplied them promptly and per quote. We were very pleased with the service and promptness. Would highly recommend them.
