Kole Palmer started this young company and it really is the "American Dream". He is dependable respectful, hard working and all while doing a great job. Business has grown and he now has workers that he supervises closely.

Kole and his workers are professional, do high quality yard work, are knowledgeable and personable. They go "above & beyond" to make my yard beautiful & healthy.

3 guys came to complete the service. They cleaned up the driveway and sidewalks from the plugs. I talked to one of them about mowing and he suggested that I wait a couple of days. I haven't really seen too much new grass growing in the bare spots.

The contractor did an excellent job, was courteous and observant with things that needed to be done and was overlooked by me. I highly recommend him. No doubt I got my money's worth.

I bought their Big Deal; they did not charge me a penny extra. It was good; I asked them to do what needed to be done and they did it all. The yard looks much better now. Their price was good. They came at sharp 8 o’clock in the morning and I told them what needs to be done and I actually left for office. When I came back home, it was all done. I liked their work; I am thinking about using them again in the future and would recommend them to friends and family.

I left a voice message on the company's phone...Kole called me back that same day and we arranged for him to come to the house for an estimate...the cost was reasonable so we asked him to return with his crew that afternoon to complete the work. The plant material was removed, all debris was taken to the curb for city pick-up, and the yard was raked and swept. After they left I discovered that not all of the root ball from one of the ornamental grasses had been dug up...I left a message for Kole and he immediately returned my call and said they would be back the following day to complete the job...which they did. We were very pleased with the work and would hire Affordable Lawncare again to help with our landscaping/yard work.

Just OK. gave him an extra $20.00 to cut down weeds. He said he did not have time to cut them down and still kept the $20.00.

Excellent. Very easy to contact and work with. This was a gift for my son's home and they kept in touch with both of us. My son sent me a text afterward and said the "guy was amazing. I've never seen anyone get that much work done that fast. He came to me after 3.5 hours and asked what I else I needed and I couldn't think of anything. Everything was done and cleaned up and looks much better!" We will both use them again.

Our neighbours had used Afforrdable for their own yard cleanup and were happy. We used the coupon from Angies list. Kole was on time for the initial discussion and prompt on the day of service. He worked alone on the yard and worked hard for the entire time, and completed the work. We were very happy with the look of the yard after!

Very pleasant and cooperative. Did not seem to know as much about plants as I expected, but maybe I did not ask the right questions.

I have used Cole twice to help with yard work I had gotten behind on and both times I was very pleased. I had a bed that had gotten out of control with weeds and perennials that had spread way too much, and he removed all the plants & weeds that I didn't want any longer, while working around the ones that I wanted to keep. He dug a small shrub out that I wanted to save & wrapped it in burlap for me. He then re-edged the entire bed & tilled & raked it smooth, removing all the unwanted grass & plant materials. He is very neat, cleans up after himself nicely & is always on time. Also offered suggestions for re-planting the bed & keeping it looking nice. The other time he worked for me, I had him trim down perennials for winter, re-edge beds & spread mulch. Both times I was extremely pleased and highly recommend his work.

They didn't show up on time. They did call and said they would be one hour late. They were an hour and half late. They arrived as I was leaving. They made me late for an appointment.

I found Affordable Lawncare through a Big Deal on Angie's and paid for 8 man-hours of service. Kole contacted me the next day to discuss the work I needed and to set up a schedule. We agreed on a Saturday morning about 10 days later so that I could be home to give instructions. My presence was his idea, and this worked out well. On the day of the appointment, Kole & crew (3 in total) arrived about 10 minutes late, but they're from the far west side and I'm pretty far east side. This was a Saturday morning and I'd planned to be there all day so the time wasn't a problem. Kole walked around the yard with me making sure he understood what I wanted and my priorities in case time ran short. He explained the plan to the other 2, and they immediately got to work. They brought all equipment (chainsaws, loppers, shovels, rakes, weedwhackers, etc.) and only needed a garden hose from me to water the one transplanted shrub. They may have had that on their truck as well, but mine was sitting there so it only made sense to use it. All 3 workers were efficient and hardworking with no sitting around and stalling even though I had paid in advance by the hour. All were also polite when they had questions. I never felt that any of them talked down to me because I'm a woman. All debris was bagged or bundled in 4-foot lengths and left on the treelawn (as was our agreement). They raked all clippings from the yard and blew them off the sidewalk. I'd created a to-do list that I thought was optimistic for the time I'd paid for (which was based on my prior experience with other companies). They got the entire list completed in under 3 hours. Since Affordable Lawncare is a little far away from my home, Kole let me know that it wouldn't make sense to hire them for small jobs like fertilizing, but they'd happily do larger things like lawn reseeding or landscaping projects. I will definitely consider them for large jobs in the future.

They were great. They responded to my emails promptly, they arrived on time and completed the work to my satisfaction. I had questions about what to plant in certain areas of the lawn and they were very helpful with recommendations. I would use them again.
