 + -1 moreCould not have asked for better service. All four men were friendly, courteous, professional, and hard-working. Nothing was damaged. They were fast and efficient. We paid $1725 for four men to do about eight hours of very hard work - well worthwhile.
Description of Work: Four guys moved about 30 pieces of furniture and around 20-30 boxes of stuff from our second floor apartment, and 10 pieces of woodworking equipment from the basement, to our house in Shaker Heights. Lots of heavy lifting, lots of negotiating narrow Shaker Heights stairways and doorways.

 + -1 moreI had to work in the morning so the move was scheduled at 3:00 pm and the 3 man crew worked for 8 hours. I had all my kitchen appliances all are heavy large and new. (Stove, 2 refrierators, Dish washer, Washer, Dryer and microwave). My furniture is large and heavy pieces Sofa, Loveset, coffee table, 4 end tables, 3 rockers, 2 chaise lounges, 3 bed rooms full of furniture too. The crew worked very hard and were polite to me and my friends. I wounld recomend this company to my friends and family.
Description of Work: This provider has moved me 2 times in 18 months.

 + -1 moreWhen the closing date of my house moved unexpectedly our movers was already booked. I started calling to find a new mover that was free 6 days away. As I went from mover to mover finding none available or open on a Saturday, one suggested I contact Kash Movers. I called them and the other company called the owner as well. That afternoon the owner called me and got all of the information for this move. He was able to get 6 guys and 2 trucks to help me out and if needed 2 guys and another truck for Saturday. Starting at 8 AM they showed up and got right to work. The size of the work took them over 5 hours to get my house completely empty. They walked through the house to be sure we got everything out and had fully packed them both so we did not need a Saturday truck. They worked very hard getting everything loaded into our new home. When they were not sure where something went they asked and checked to make sure it not only was in the right room but set up as we wanted it. They were extremely professional and helpful at every turn. They finished up at 6 PM and did a walk through with my wife and me. Checking to be sure everything was as we wanted. Want to thank them for the hard work that they did for us.
Description of Work: I had a 2 story house with a finished basement and large storage area that needed moved to my new home. They supplied 2 trucks and 6 guys to handle this move in one day.

 + -1 moreThe move day was two days after Christmas and immediately after a big snow fall (we hadn't thought about that). Despite snow covered roads, the two young men from Kash movers arrived on time in their truck. They cleared the apartment sidewalk and area around the ramp to the truck of snow. The old apartment has no elevators, only stairs and they had to hand carry everything from the 3rd floor down out to the truck. I personally think no move event is ever flawless. Thankfully, this young and strong two man moving crew managed to move the heavy bookshelf and TV cabinets without banging them into walls or low stairwell beams. They packed everything securely into the truck. They arrived promptly at the new apartment building. Experienced in their work, they knew how to pack an elevator with stuff and quickly move things into a building when not incumbered by stairs. They put down floor covering to keep things clean and put things where we directed. From morning to afternoon, we were done in under 5and frac12; hours, including the lunch break (my treat to them). They did a very good job and are worth your consideration when you're shopping for a moving company. Note: Their website address is www.kashmoving.com, not www.kashmovers.com.
Description of Work: My wife's mother is getting older and needs more assistance these days. We needed to move her from a large apartment to a smaller apartment in a senior living building. Now when we were in our 20s we'd just rent a big truck and call a bunch of friends who worked for pizza. Well we're in our 50's now and it doesn't work that way anymore. We needed not only the truck but people younger and stronger than ourselves. We spent a few days a week over two months packing and downsizing my mother-in-law's things. We knew this would be a small move as we put some new furniture in the new apartment; we only needed to move a few items and packed boxes from the old place to the new place, about 8 miles away. I called 4 different local moving companies, all top rated on Angie's list and all with comparable estimates around $800. By happenstance, I was referred by friends of friends from our church to Kash Moving of Cleveland, Ohio. The owner, Mr. Kash himself, gave us a lower estimate – somewhere around $500 to $550. (Note: This cost also included a previous visit to remove some old furniture we need to remove prior to the move.) We felt comfortable with estimate and his understanding of what we needed. What we needed turned out to be harder than what we expected.
