Description of Work: During a recent 15 minute storm, the gutters were over flowing and my renter called that there was crack in the bedroom ceiling with water dripping down the wall. It stopped when the rain stopped. Ideal wasn't able to come out due to extensive work load. My neighbor helped me clean out a plugged downspout where it met the porch roof gutter. No back-up since. Was able to have Ideal come out in a few days to clean the 2nd floor gutters which also had some minor debris (front and back). Fair price of $120 and very careful not to scrape the siding with their ladders. I had used Ideal in the past to install gutter screens and repair a roof leak several years ago (different contractor did the roof job, no longer in the area).

+ -1 moreThey gave me the best price out of all of the estimates that I received. The roof looks great. I wasn't impressed with the cleanup because there are about 100 spots on the siding that hasn't come off after being pressure washed a couple of times. There are also a few areas within the trim work detail that are a little sloppy. There was also a small issue with scheduling. I was bumped back a week due to rain and the salesman didn't call me back until 2 days later. The delivery truck came on the wrong day as well but I let him drop the materials off and sit over the weekend in my backyard.
Description of Work: Ideal Roofing & Sheet Metal replaced the decking and roof for my home.

+ -1 moreVERY PROMPT IN COMING FOR AN ESTIMATE. I THINK IT WAS THE SAME DAY THAT WE CALLED THEM. VERY NICE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. HIS PRICE WAS THE SECOND BEST OF TEN ESTIMATES THAT WE RECEIVED ($8000). WE DECIDED NOT TO USE THEM BECAUSE OUR NEIGHBORS WERE NOT VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR WORK (NOT SURE WHY).
Description of Work: NEEDED A COMPLETE TEAR OFF AND NEW ROOF OF HOUSE AND GARAGE.

+ -1 moreMY EXPERIENCES ON ALL THREE OCCASIONS WAS HORRIBLE. FOR THE FIRST REPAIR THEY CHARGED ME AS THEY SAID THE WARRANTY DID NOT TRANSFER TO A NEW OWNER OF THE HOME (THIS WAS 3 YEARS INTO THE WARRANTY). THE OTHER TWO TIMES THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME AS I TALKED TO THE OWNER INSTEAD OF THE OFFICE PEOPLE. THESE TWO TIMES, THE WORKERS DIDN'T ARRIVE TO FIX THE LEAKS UNTIL 2-3 WEEKS AFTER MY CALL. THEY WERE VERY RUDE UPON ARRIVING. OVERALL THERE IS NOTHING ABOUT THIS COMPANY THAT IS GOOD. THE ROOF THEY PUT ON THIS HOME LEAKS AFTER 5 YEARS, THEY DO SHODDY REPAIR WORK. THE ROOF THEY DID PUT ON HAS ROOFING MATERIAL HANGING OVER THE EDGE, NOT TRIMMED NICELY, IT IS LUMPY AND HEAVING IN SPOTS. IT LOOKS LIKE AN AMATEUR DID IT.
Description of Work: I PURCHASED A HOME IN WHICH IDEAL ROOFING DID THE ROOF IN 2000. I HAVE THE WARRANTY. I HAVE HAD TO CALL THEM 3 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS TO REPAIR 3 DIFFERENT LEAKS ON THIS ROOF. ONE TIME THEY RENAILED SHINGLES AND RE-TARRED SHINGLES AS WATER LEAKED INTO MY HALLWAY, ANOTHER THEY REPAIRED FLASHING AROUND MY CHIMNEY AS WATER LEAKING THROUGH THE CEILING IN FRONT OF THE FIREPLACE, ANOTHER TIME THEY FIXED, AGAIN, THE SEAL AROUND THE CHIMNEY AS WATER WAS LEAKING INTO A BEDROOM.
