Our salesperson made us uncomfortable by telling us the reason he had been fired by his previous employer. It was a case of ?too much information? ? we had never met this salesperson before ? and in fact, what he told us raised our suspicions about his integrity. On the morning we arrived to pick up the fans, the same salesperson realized he had forgotten to order an essential part for one of the units. Fortunately, after a mad scramble that lasted about 20 minutes, he found a substitute for the missing part in the stockroom. Also, he sold us $89 worth of unnecessary, duplicate parts ? a discovery made by the electrician who installed the fans. The $800 cost quoted above did not include installation.

When I walked in to the center, the salesman was quick to greet me and when I told him that I needed to replace two brass lighting fixtures in my kitchen, he gave me a look like I had just brought in a skunk. The distaste in his face, a true sight to behold! Needless to say, I went elsewhere.

I bought all the lights for the renovation of our house at House of Lights. I compared prices on the same light fixtures with another lighting showroom down the street, and found House of Lights to be much less expensive, as much as 50% less, in a few cases. I worked with Jim Dixon there, and he was great to work with. I subsequently had HOL install the fixtures, and that was a great experience, too.
