Dealing with Homeland Construction was a total pleasure. Matt was unbelievably responsive and professional. This was the second time we've used him and I doubt we'll ever use someone else! The price was great and the quality of work is so exceptionally high. The best part of dealing with Homeland Construction was Matt's attention to detail and collaborative approach to the work he will be undertaking. During the quoting process, we never felt that he was looking to "upsell" us, just working to make sure that we were satsified with his work. Overall, dealing with Homeland was a refreshing experience that we'd recommend to anyone.

My husband and I were looking to replace the vinyl siding on our home with a fiber cement product. Fiber cement is not a commonly used material in this area and it was important for us to hire someone with experience installing it. After struggling with finding a qualified installer on our own, a friend recommended Homeland Construction. From the very beginning, we worked directly with Matt, the owner. He was very responsive to all of our questions and numerous changes. He was enthusiatic about the custom carpentry I requested for the windows and offered his own ideas for giving our home the character we were looking for. After a couple of weeks and much back and forth, we settled on the work to be done and Homeland returned a very competitively priced estimate. They were able to schedule the work immediately and agreed to complete the work within six business days. The work began promptly on the start date/time agreed on. As the work progressed, we continued to find small things that could be done to improve the aesthetics of the house (e.g., two bulky utility boxes were removed/moved indoors); Matt gladly accommodated these requests. Every member of the crew was courteous and tolerant of my many questions. Each night, the job site was cleaned up completely. The work was delayed one day due to torrential rain but, otherwise, the work was completed on schedule. The quality of the work exceeded my expectations! The intricate cuts to the siding material around the widow trim was more work than I think anyone expected but the result is nothing short of perfect. Every feature on the house (every outlet, light fixture, vent, etc.) was given the same custom treatment. No detail was overlooked. I've never seen anything like it! I've worked with many contractors over the years and I can honestly say this is best working experience I've ever had. I can't say enough good things about Matt and his business partner, Marty. Solid gentlemen.
