HOLD IT

Started out good and went downhill from there. Estimate given and this company was chosen over competition for price and promptness of when job could be completed - but have had to rethink this decision. Employee had to tear out old rails/shelves, which left plaster everywhere. He tracked the plaster back and forth inside my home and left the plaster and tracks when he left at the end of the day-not to mention the nails lying around for my 8 year old to get into. Then he placed the old shelves against freshly painted walls...which nicked them and had to be re-painted. All the necessary pieces were not present to complete the job (although I was notified about some early ones, I did not find out about others until that day). Also, some variations in the walls caused inaccurate measurements of items. I was told he would be back by the end of the week to complete the work...when the end of the week came, I found it my responsibility to call THEM and found out when they were actually coming back to complete the work. Misunderstanding I was told...but why am I calling them back when they had already been paid for the work via credit card several days ago? I guess my mistake for paying entirely for a job that had not even started, not to mention successfully completed. When they finally did come back, things were still not quite right...they had to come back yet again. Finally all is complete and I am using my closets. However, I still have another closet that needs to be done, but I will not be utilizing this company. Guess I need to go to the local store, purchase the equivalent items and try to do it myself and save myself the aggravation and cost (although after insisting for a small compensation for the inconvenience, company did compensate me). Not sure about you, but paying almost $1000.00 during these tough times for this type of service...NOT GOOD.

I went into the Hold It store with my closet measurements of 6' x 7' looking to improve the usable space. Art designed a solution on the store computer. After a few design modifications to meet our specific needs, we purchased the closet system. Art installed the system in about an hour. The closet system looks and functions great! We doubled our hanging room and with the addition of shoe cubbies and drawers on the back wall of the closet, we have plenty of storage. Now nothing is on the floor so the closet is easy to sweep.

In store design. Friendly. Somehow we made an error in measures and they were very accommodating in fixing the order and redesigning the closet.
