Description of Work: We needed a special size of washer and dryer for a second-floor laundry room. I was able to check the HH Gregg web site to see that they had it in stock at the Mayfield Heights store. The purchase process was easy, and there was no pressure from the sales guy. If you order it by a certain time of day (5? Maybe 6 pm?) they can deliver it the next day, even on Sunday. When it was delivered, the guys discovered that we had were missing an electrical outlet for the washer. We had an electrician fix that, and HH Gregg came back out for free to hook up the washer hoses and dryer vent. Very pleased.

+ -1 moreWithout warning the inside glass of the observation window on the inside surface of the oven door shattered while I was cooking. This FRIGIDAIRE electric range was purchased from HH GREGG appliance store and was less than three years old. I will never purchase this brand of appliance again nor will I patronize HH GREGG again.
Description of Work: Purchased a FRIGIDAIRE electric range from HH GREGG less than three years ago. A few days ago, while cooking in the oven, a loud popping sound was heard. The window glass on the inside surface of the oven door had shattered. Glass was everywhere inside the oven. The FRIGIDAIRE model # is FEF326AWH. What a disappointment and safety hazard! This has been reported to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. After this experience I will never again purchase a FRIGIDAIRE product from this store.

+ -1 moreI LEFT HH GREG FEELING THAT THEY WOULD BE SO PLEASED TO SELL ME THE $2400 APPLIANCES IF I PUT THE PURCHASE ON MY OWN CREDIT CARD. OBVIOUSLY THEY DO NOT HAVE TO CARRY MY ACCOUNT FOR 24 MONTHS-NO INTEREST IF IT IS ON MY CREDIT CARD. I BELIEVE THAT THEIR AD PROMOTING 24 MONTHS-NO INTEREST IS JUST A COME-ON TO GET A CUSTOMER INTO THE STORE WHERE THEY CAN THEN TRY TO GET THE CUSTOMER TO STILL PURCHASE FROM THEM, BUT PAY THROUGH ANOTHER SOURCE. HOW ELSE CAN YOU EXPLAIN WHY THE OTHER STORE, WHO USES THE SAME CREDIT-INVESTIGATING COMPANY, GRANTED ME A THEIR CREDIT CARD IN LESS THAN 2 MINUTES FOR AN AMOUNT DOUBLE WHAT MY PURCHASE ACTUALLY WAS? THANK GOODNESS THAT WHIRLPOOL, IS WHIRLPOOL, IS WHIRLPOOL, NO MATTER WHERE I PURCHASE THE WASHER AND DRYER SET. THIS WAS MY FIRST AND LAST FORAY INTO SHOPPING AT HH GREG.
Description of Work: I WENT TO HH GREG, BECAUSE THEY HAD AN AD IN THE PLAIN DEALER FOR 24 MONTHS-NO INTEREST ON APPLIANCE PURCHASES OVER $399 MADE WITH THEIR CREDIT CARD. MY PURCHASE WAS A FRONT-LOADING WHIRLPOOL WASHER AND DRYER SET FOR $2400. HH GREG SAID THAT I DID NOT QUALIFY FOR THEIR CREDIT CARD. WORRIED, I WENT HOME AND IMMEDIATELY REQUESTED COPIES OF MY CREDIT REPORT FROM ALL 3 CREDIT BUREAUS. MY CREDIT WAS RATED AS ''EXCELLENT'' BY ALL THREE. NO EVIDENCE OF CREDIT THEFT. I WENT BACK TO HH GREG (WITH MY CREDIT REPORT) AND REQUESTED THAT THEY TRY AGAIN. AGAIN, I WASN'T ELIGIBLE FOR THEIR CREDIT. THE SALESMAN TRIED TO GET ME TO BUY THE SET AND PUT IT ON MY OWN VISA (NO 24-MONTH TERMS!). I IMMEDIATELY WENT TO ANOTHER HOME IMPROVEMENT STORE, WHERE NOT ONLY WAS THE SAME SET $200 LESS, BUT I QUALIFIED FOR THEIR CREDIT CARD WITH NO PROBLEMS (WITH 12 MONTH'S NO INTEREST). THE SECOND STORE USES THE SAME CREDIT COMPANY AS HH GREG. MY FEELING IS THAT HH GREG ENTICES ONE IN WITH A 24 MONTHS-NO INTEREST AD, BUT
