They cut my grass every week. They do an excellent job at an excellent price. I'm using them now.

For the period of six weeks, they charged $200. Their service was excellent. They used to be here at 9:15 every Monday morning and finish their work within 20 minutes. They did a fantastic job. They were doing same job for my neighbor. When they were doing my neighbor's yard, I was out looking at my own yard and some grass came in my driveway and they said not to worry and they cleaned it up in few minutes. They were very courteous and polite. If there is a need, I would use them again in the future too.

Their estimate was for $100. They were friendly but I put a stop on the work for now because of the weather. We spoke over the phone and did our work schedules. They came out and I told them that they could go out there during the day to take a look it. He left the written estimate in my mailbox and that worked out well.

The workers were reliable and neat. They cut my grass, edged and cleaned up every week. I had no complaints. I am using the service again this year (2011).

Even though we are not regular customers of Grounds by Coffey, John responded to our pleas for help in removing a lot of accumulated snow and ice so that our driveway could be ready for our moving company to move us on Monday, Feb 14. Even though he had worked a very long week, John and his friendly dog pal came immediately after our call and did a great job for a very reasonable price. We are very grateful to him for saving us from what could have been a disaster on moving day. Thanks, John!

Everything went well. The only minor thing was he stepped on a couple flowers. The price was very good. I will use him agian this next summer.

Mr. Coffey is very professional and I would recommend him to others. He has been prompt in performing snow removal job. We will use him throughout this snow season and in future years. We had a bad experience with another company who did not fulfill snow removal contract so we were very skeptical to sign a season contract. We will sign one next year with Mr. Coffey based upon experience we had so far with him.

They are able to clean and get the leaves out of my yard. They mow our lawn weekly; they have a schedule that tells me what month they'll do a fertilizer treatment. They always explain what's being done and what type of fertilizer is used. They follow through with all the plans that are made. The prices are reasonable. Also, they accomodate my requests on how often my lawn is mowed without a problem. I'm really pleased with them; I've never had anybody that I could count on as far as lawn service. Overall, I'm very satisfied with their services.

I like them very much. He comes every week and is very faithful doing his job.

He does it every week but if there is a week I don't need him, that is fine with him. I have 10 trees in the backyard so he does two leaf cleanups for me. I can depend on him on cleaning up the leaves for me in the fall. His prices are quite reasonable. I've used him for about 4-5 years and keep renewing with him.

Their prices are fair. They show up on Monday morning rain or shine.

They are really great. Sometimes I have to get on them about trimming the bushes but other than that, their work is good. When I want them to trim the bushes, it is another charge. Price listed is weekly for grass mowing, edging and weed-eating.

The snow removal is fine, and I have personally talked to John to rehire his services for snow removal this year. However, I am traveling a further distance to the new school where I substitute teach this year. Last year, my parish school was closer to home; however, it closed for good due to decline in enrollment. John explained to me that I am tenth on his list and that he cannot really give preferential priority service.

He has been doing work for us for years and has done an excellent job. Very professional and cares a lot about his quality of work and makes sure we are always satisfied.

I AM NOT SURE IF HE PUT THE RIGHT FERTILIZER ON. I USED TO HAVE A BEAUTIFUL YARD, AND TODAY IT IS A DISASTER. THE YARD IS FULL OF WEEDS. I HAD MULCH PUT DOWN. THEY PUT THE MULCH DOWN IN THE WRONG PLACES, THE PUT GROOVES IN THE YARD WITH THIS MACHINE THAT THEY MAKE A TRENCH TO PUT THE MULCH IN. THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO FILL AND RE-SEED WHERE THEY MADE THE ERROR, WHICH THEY NEVER DID. THEY HAD THESE LARGE GRAVEL STONES, LIKE YOU PUT IN A DRIVEWAY, MIXED IN WITH THE MULCH. WHAT IS BAD IS THAT THE GRAVEL MIXES IN WITH THE YARD MULCH, AND WHEN YOU GO TO MOW THE STONES CAN GET INTO THE LAWN MOWER AND BE SHOT OUT. THERE IS NO WAY THAT YOU CAN KEEP A COPY OF WHAT YOU PAID, EXCEPT BY CHECK. HE MAKES YOU MAKE THE CHECK OUT TO HIM PERSONALLY AND HE DOES NOT CHARGE SALES TAX. THIS SEEMS RATHER UNETHICAL BECAUSE THE CHECK IS NOT BEING MADE OUT TO A COMPANY, JUST AN INDIVIDUAL.

It was fine. I felt like there was a misunderstanding about what work needed to be done. I requested the flower beds get a spring clean-up. Grounds by Coffey didn't do that (because they were working off an old quote). They could have gone the extra mile, but what I got was okay.

The cutting wasn't so bad but sometimes they didn't bother to edge the way they should, sometime they blew the grass off the sidewalk and sometimes they just left it. On one occasion one of the bottom limbs of my magnolia tree had been knocked off during the cutting and they just left it. I had to go out on crutches and chop it up and dispose of it. Last summer when the gas prices were high they raised the prices $3 with no warning. When the gas prices went back down they never offered to reduce the prices. The back lawn was chewed up by the skunks and I believe they didn't put the grub control down which ruined my back yard. I was very upset. I would not recommend them.

John is very responsive and accommodating. They did a nice job on what they accomplished, however they (unknowingly) cut some of our irrigation lines that had to be replaced. Also, they didn't do everything in the quoted proposal. (We have a dead tree that he said he would remove, but it's still there.) We also had to call him back to finish taking down some ivy from the side of our house (which was on the quote) that they didn't do on their scheduled visit. I'm not sure if he was planning on calling me back to schedule a time to finish that job or not.

They also take care of weeds through fertilization, edge my lawn and clean up well. I have a big lawn and they charge by the size, so $28 per mow is a great price. They charge roughly $41 for fertilization too. They do a great job. I'd recommend them to others.

They were courteous and did a good job. They dumped the clippings down the hill on the back of my property. I cleaned them up myself.

This is the third year they have come. I will keep using him. His price is very reasonable for mowing and fertilizing. He does good work. His equipment is very high quality which leaves less tracks in the grass.

John Coffey is very reliable. His prices are very reasonable and my yard always looks very neat and well kept. He calls every spring to make sure I want to renew the service. He always returns my calls and takes care of my requests in a reasonable amount of time.
