Grad Movers

Our dryer was still under warranty, so I called the company directly for service. I was quite surprised--and annoyed--that the repairman said that we were responsible for disassembling the stacking unit and moving the dryer to the floor for service. While I've used other handyman services in the past, this seemed like such a little job to bring them in. I went looking online and found Grad Movers. I called to talk to them about my situation and they were immediately helpful. They have a one-hour minimum, but since I knew that moving the dryer wouldn't take that long and I'd have to have them back a few days later, I asked if they would consider a discounted price, which they immediately agreed to. AJ and Ryan arrived promptly and got to work. Our washer/dryer are in a narrow closet, so they first had to remove shelving on the walls so they could have room to work. They then disassembled the stacking unit, removed the gas line, and took down the dryer. Once the warranty service was performed, they returned to reverse their steps. Before moving the dryer back in, they offered to vacuum behind the units. Putting everything back in place took little time and I had a working dryer again!
