Good Nature Organic Lawn Care - Northeast Ohio

Decided to try something different this year and use organic versus the traditional treatment of the lawn. Contacted the company and received a detail quote and everything was explained completely. The cost is a bit higher than my previous company but not by much. All the treatments were done as explained. Unfortunately the treatments did not kill all the weeds and the weeds have spread. I contacted the company and they made a special trip out to the property to determine what weeds (there were numerous types) were on the lawn. I was told that I could have an additional treatment for the weeds (for an additional cost) but I feel the previous treatments should have addressed it so I did not get the additional treatment. The lawn is green and the customer service was excellent but I am giving them a fair rating for the quality since I am not convinced that the treatment is better than the traditional chemical method.

I am currently using them, but I also used them in the past. I have an ongoing contract with them, and I started last fall. I haven't used them in quite a year yet, and I mainly switch to them because I wasn't happy with my previous service with the quality of my grass. It doesn't look that good. I came to Cleveland Botanical, and I've learned about the right way. I decided to shift on organic treatment. That's why I used them. They use a little chemicals. Hopefully, they'd be improving the look of my yard. It's a work in progress so it's early to give a comment, but they seem responsive. I call and ask questions, and they've been willing to work with me.

It's been wonderful!!! We want to have a beautiful green lawn but we have three dogs we love so much so we are careful about what products we use on our lawn and flowers. I found out about Good Nature. I got a quote within hours of my request for a call. They sent the information via email and followed up withing two hours with a call to make sure I got the email. We compared the price of them doing the work for us or buying the pet friendly stuff and doing the work ourselves. We determined due to the size yard we have, that is was basically the same price to have Good Nature do the work compared to if we did it ourselves. Hmmm, let's see first not having to go to the store to get product, also remembering to go get it and then put it down at the right time or let someone else do that & free up our time for the same cost? No brainer, we let Good Nature do the work. We saw an impact on our lawn right away after the first feeding. It's nice to know our dogs and all the neighborhood dogs will be safe. We plan to have them aerate our lawn in the fall to help with spring drainage issues. The tech guy has been great. Leaving us information to help improve our lawn (turns out we were mowing it too short). Also the first time they came, we were having issues with our gate and had a stone behind it to keep it closed. Not only did the tech guy work to move the stone so he could get into the backyard. He figured out a way to get the stone back in place to keep the gate closed. I was very impressed by that. I'm sure he'll be happy to see the next time he comes that the gate has been fixed. We plan to continue a full season program with them and use them again the next year. They are making it so much easier for us to have a beautiful lawn.

They were really nice, came out, and gave us a quote. They followed up with an email and literature. They were very efficient on the time that they said that they would be there. They followed up with the quote. They did everything that they said that they were going to do.

$316.47 for very professional service. Products are environmentally safe and they are promoting vital information to the public as they progress with the care of your property. Great company to be associated with to improve our environment.

I like this company because it is organic. It costs about $350-$400 annually.

The company had some communication/followup hiccups but Alec had everything corrected. Off to a fresh start again.

They are awesome. We had a geothermal put in which was h****** the lawn. We had them reseed this area. They have continued to reseed the area and once they did so without charge. We have a yearly contract with them.

They are organic and I like that. They do a good work and they are responsive. After finishing one of their servicing, the servicing tech writes up a report mentioning what he found and what he recommends and mails the report to me.

We've had really good results making our lawn look a lot better, thicker, and healthier. Mostly we were interested because it's environmentall safe. We've been very satisfied with their service and results.

The lawn seems to be good so far. Our overall experience with them has been good.

They are professional, return phone calls, came when they said they would, and their price is reasonable.

Consistent exceptional customer service.

This started in June and by the end of the year, 2011, our lawn was looking better than it had in many years. Normally after winter, our lawn looks like is struggling to live beginning in the spring. This year, our lawn is already looking great and promises to get even better as it is taken care of this year. My wife and I couldn't be more satisfied and gladly share our happiness with Good Nature with other people. Never before have people said, WOW, what have you done to your lawn.

They are very proactive company and they make sure the customer is happy. They always leave a note to update me on my lawn. They are very responsive when I have any questions. They are very good company to work with.

I have been using their services for the past two years. I like that they use organic but I did not renew their services because I had many weeds appearing in my yard. Dan was very accommodating and went above his call of duty. Overall, I was disappointed with the amount of weeds.

They are very responsive when we call. We also like that they use only organic and not chemicals on our lawn. Our lawn has always been green and our neighbor's yard turns brown at the end of summer. We never have to call they come on time and when various services are due.

We checked in to the company and discovered that seniors get a 5% discount, and that if we paid for the year there is an additional discount. We have been satisfied. If we have any questions and concerns, they are good about getting back to us and explaining whatever information we need. We are very pleased with them. I would use them again.

I saw this company at the Home and Garden show at the IX Center. I decided to get a quote. I received a follow up salescall from the salesman prior to even receiving the quote! He did then promptly email it to me. To fertilize my whole yard was out of my price range, however I was intrigued by their "Liquid Aeration." I opted to go with just that one service. I paid for the service at the beginning of March and my check was cashed shortly thereafter. After this point, I hear NOTHING back from the company, even after being told by the salesman when I agreed to the service that I was "put on the schedule." After hearing my mom had her Liquid Aeration applied, I emailed the salesman. He assured me he'd contact the office and see what was going on. Again, I heard nothing back. A week or so later, I called the office and was told they were coming out "that afternoon." Well, they didn't come (to be fair, it was a really rainy day). After not getting a call to reschedule, I emailed the office. By that evening the salesman had called to say they were coming out soon and a few days later, the application was made. The person who applied the chemical was pleasant and called the evening before to let me know he was coming out the next day. A bill stating I owed money even though I prepaid was left on my door after the application. I had to call the office and get that straightened out, which they did. I really wanted to like this company! I think they have a great idea, just lousy customer service! I probably would have agreed to have some weed treatment done and future fertilization completed, but now I just don't know if I want to get into the scheduling and zero communication mess again. UPDATE: 7/15/11 I did receive a call from the owner of the company immediately following this report. He was very polite and listened thoroughly. He offered me a free service to compensate my troubles. Now, 10 weeks later, I have heard nothing back, not even a courtesy call to let me know that they have not forgotten about me. My biggest problem with this company was communication and clearly this issue has not been resolved.

I have only used them once; so I can't really speak through how well it will work. They were quick and calm. They were very friendly. They explained what they were doing. They came quickly after I prefer their service. They were pretty good. I was little confused with the billing because I got two separate invoices; but I paid one and ignored the other. Their service was excellent.

The tecnicanas are nice and seem knowledgable. I did have a problem with them not calling before they came, but that has since been taken care of. The company is customer friendly and they seek to please their customers.

Everyone at Good Nature has been very responsive. I have called them 3 different times and each time a live person answered the phone. My lawn already looks better!

It didn't. They took out money, but did not, according to their records, treat our lawn.
