I found them on Angie's List and they were very professional. It was extensive work through the attic and everything else, and they sent enough people to get everything done in one day. They were very clean and very careful to vacuum and clean after they did everything. They spent some time to show me how to use the system with shortcuts and everything. They train and use their own people for response to alarms and don't outsource to a third party. They are right here in town and I can call and talk to the dispatchers immediately, and that is very convenient and a little safer too. It is a little expensive but you get what you pay for. Their punctuality was very good, and they were even ahead of time. Their professionalism was exactly what I had hoped for.

This is a top notch company. They honestly represent their company. When their fellow came in to give us the estimate he was the one who said that our windows are wired and he showed me how it is wired because I did not know it was wired. Eleven years ago when we moved in the former owners had told me that the house was wired and they left off a couple of open widows at night. From there we went uphill with Gilmore and he could use the existing equipment and told us why and why it was good and what they would do. There was $800 left to do our house much more efficiently than the other company was going to. It is a local company. They did not send the final bill until absolutely every part was ordered and placed and everything was functioning properly. Whereas, the other provider charged us even before the alarm machine was placed and functioning properly. I think we spent $1900 to use our existing equipment and we also have a new monitoring system that was set and we can disarm it with our cell phone which was wonderful. We no longer need to have the land line. The people whom you deal with are wonderful. They are down to earth, and honest. The president of the company sent me a letter and encourages you to call him if there are any problems. They are so different. They are very good business models. I recommend them to anybody. I will use them in the future.

The techician came as promised, worked steadily to finish the job in one day. He explained what he was doing, and installed equipment as I asked. When he was finished, he took plenty of time to explain how the system worked, answer my questions, and let me practise arming and disarming. He was patient with problems and called an associate to help him finish in one day. He stayed until everything was finished and cleaned up--at 7:30 p.m. The next day I accidentally caused a false alarm by tapping on a sound sensor. I quickly disarmed, as instructed, and their phone call came within seconds to check if everything was OK. I really had the feeling that this company has our needs and interest at heart, and I am looking forward to having Gillmore as our security system..

I spent over $3000 on that service. They did quite a bit of work and were her for two days. Everything is working well and I feel like it is reliable for the first time in a long time and I don?t have to bypass anything because it will go off accidently. The workers were very good and they went the extra mile and found some things that weren?t part of their domain such as wires, but cleaned them up anyway. I think that they are a little higher priced than the others, but the fact that they are local business and they do their own monitoring. They really gave me a much better presentation that I had and I don?t see the alarm systems like I did on the other thing because it is very discreet. I think I got what I paid for.

I can't say anything negative about Gillmore. The salesperson made things very clear. When I had called initially they could not have been more gracious and they probably provide a great system. I went with someone else not because I thought that Gillmore would be bad but because this was a little trickier.

They have amazing customer service skills. The sales person kept up with me, was informative and it was an all around great experience. It's a small family operation and that was a benefit in my eyes compared to the bigger companies. I'll continue using them without a question.

Everything was ok. No problems at all.

The salesman was very helpful. He provided straightforward answers to our questions, without using any scare tactics. We were impressed with this company and signed up right away, with the understanding that we'd get a call in a day or two to arrange for installation and set-up of the system. The call didn't come, and we had to inquire before a service visit was scheduled. (We were told that our service order hadn't been turned in.) Other than that one glitch, everything went well. The service man called to ask if he could come early, and he finished ahead of schedule. He was very thorough in explaining how to operate the system.

I decided to add some type of radio box. It allows the system to function even if phone lines are cut. They are always very accommodating.

Gillmore was a pleasure to deal with. We met w/ 2 other security companies in our research, and Mike, our salesman, was by far the most trustworthy and knowledgeable representative that we interviewed. Gillmore fit our appointment in on short notice, as we had just been burglarized and wanted to make a decision quickly. Mike was on time and courteous - took the time to explain the system and which elements made sense to install. Installation itself took 2 days, and they again fit us in quickly. Khris came out to install and was on time, and very pleasant. He took my opinions into consideration with keypad locations, etc. We have 3 cats that threatened escape - and Khris was extremely watchful while working, ensuring that we still had 3 cats afterwards :) Overall, a very positive experience - would highly recommend.

I've been very satisfied with them. They are very responsible and responsive. If there is any issues with an alarm going off, they will call even if it's in the middle of the night. If a door comes ajar they are right there, they are quick to respond if there are any sort of problems. The system has never failed, I'm very happy with them. I don't think it's inexpensive, but I think it's worth the money.

They seemed very professional. The estimate came to about $1000. We haven?t picked anybody to do the work yet.

SERVICE CALL WENT GREAT- NOW WE WILL ADD WIRELESS CONNECTION TO THEIR OFFICE, IN ADDITION TO THE WIRED CONNECTION.

The few times we have tripped the alarm they responded immediately. Since our house has not been broken into, we have no experience about Gillmore's actions in an emergency.

They were very professional and I am going to use them to do my new alarm system. I have received a letter in the mail from the president of the company and I think this is a very nice feature.

This company is very easy to work with and they answer questions and deal with problems very quickly. I would recommend them to anyone.

They were a very good company. They were also very prompt, trustworthy, courtesy and professional.

The salesperson was very knowledgeable, polite, punctual and a family member in a family owned business. The technician who installed the system was punctual, knowledgeable and very very neat and tidy. The monitors and door sensors are almost indiscernible and the keypads are in places that go unnoticed. I would highly recommend them and have.

This was a great company for customer service, from the main office (Connie) to the Security Consultant (Alan), and the installer (Chris). Worked with me to find convenient times so I would not have to miss entire days of work. Very professional staff, the installer was great at informing me why he was doing things and cleaned up when he was done. Also, both Alan and Chris were not bothered by two somewhat behaved big dogs. First year repair service was free of charge. Monitoring is done locally and can be paid on quarterly basis. Would definitely recommend Gilmore security to others. Thought their pricing was reasonable given the packages/options and most importantly, local monitoring. Two other firms were more interested in selling their product and seemed to make customer service a low priority.

The experience couldn't have been better. Both Alan, my salesman, and the installer, were professional, courteous and honest. The installer was prompt, quick and neat, despite having to drill several holes in the wall to install the system. While this system may cost a little more upfront, the service, local monitoring and the friendliness of the staff makes it worthwhile.

GOOD. THE TECHNICIAN ARRIVED ON TIME, AND COMPLETED THE WORK QUICKLY. I WAS SURPRISED AT THE HIGH PRICE, HOWEVER. HE BILLED $120 PER HOUR, PLUS THERE WAS A TRIP CHARGE OF $50.

THEY WERE WONDERFUL THEY CONTACTED US RIGHT AWAY. THE MONITORING FEE IS ONLY $25.00 PER MONTH AND THEY WAIVED THE $50.00 TRANSFER FEE.

THEY WERE WONDERFUL AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. CONNIE WAS MY SALES CONTACT AND SHE WAS EXCELLENT. WHAT I LIKED ABOUT THEM WAS THAT THEIR MONITORING SYSTEM IS LOCAL.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST SECURITY PROVIDER AVAILABLE. THEY DO THEIR OWN MONITORING, SO THE STAFF KNOW WHERE YOU ARE, WHO THE AUTHORITIES ARE, ETC. ANY TIME THERE HAS BEEN AN ISSUE AT MY PROPERTY, MY PHONE IS RINGING IN SECONDS. THEY TOOK OVER MY EXISTING SYSTEM FOR A SETUP FEE OF $50 WHICH INCLUDED REPLACING ALL BATTERIES AND TESTING THE SYSTEM OUT. THE STAFF IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS.

WHEN I HAD A PROBLEM THEY RE-DID IT WITH NO HASSLE.
