They are an excellent company. The experience with them went very well. I highly recommend them to others. I called the Gaslite Company and we got hold of the gas company who installed a new line, new meter and everything else for me. The Gaslite people installed my gaslight and painted it.

Our water heater broke on Monday afternoon. Called Gaslight at 10:00pm intending to leave a voicemail. Much to my surprise they answered and spent almost a half hour on the phone with me diagnosing the problem. The AOC water heater was broken and leaking from the bottom. A rough estimate was provided on the phone for the labor and materials. Scheduled replacement for the next day. I had to take off work and they arrived on time. Removed the old heater and installed a new Rheem water heater. Added some new gas shutoff valves. Further, they added a water pressure regulator due to high water pressure. We knew this was an issue because our home inspector had previously advised us. They cleaned up after themselves. The only downside is they drained the old heater into the flower beds. It was full of rust and gunk. Hopefully the flowers will not be effected. A less conspicuous place would have been preferred. Overall a thumbs up...The water is nice and hot. The lower water pressure will probably save us on our next bill!

This is the third service Gaslight performed for us. Our first experience with the company started with a simple grill cleaning - spider webs were clogging the line. Fast forward two years to this summer. Our in-ground gas grill needed replacement. I was worried that I would open the grill and the rusted post would snap. Plus the heat/flame was very low and it was an odd size so replacement parts are non-existent. Started shopping on-line and in-store for grills. Didn't really like the giant grills (with wobbly knobs) at the big box stores. Decided to try Gaslight for a grill replacement due to a comment on Angie's list and great prior experience with the company. I knew Gaslight carried MHP due to a comment on Angie's List. So I went online and reviewed MHP grills. After watching the BBQ Guys review I decided this was a good grill. Called to discuss and scheduled the replacement the next day. They arrived on time, removed the old grill, patched a hole in the cement from the old post, trenched and buried a new gas line, and installed the new grill. They dug out flower bulbs that were in the way - which have already been replanted. The grill was installed level. Sausages don't roll!. Before leaving Gaslight gave an orientation to the controls and the required maintenance.

After researching other company's, and describing our problem. The representative from Gaslite called us later on that night and gave us some info to help us with our problem. We hadn't even hired him yet and he called to help us out. We went back with him for the job. He came out and the job took a couple of hours. He did other things that he didn t even charge us for. I would highly recommend him and will use him again!

I spoke with the owner, and he was very helpful on the phone. He told me what to check before I called anybody else because I may just have dust in that area. He spoke with me for 10 minutes explaining things over the phone.

Overall, I was very satisfied with this company. The man who came out was very easy to work with, punctual, and professional. I would recommend this company to others.

He was responsive (I think he came the very next day), was professional, and did what we needed. It was a bit more expensive that we had hoped, but it was within his original estimate.

They did an excellent job! They told me exactly what I needed. He told me that a 40 gallon tank was enough. He checked my water pressure, water lines, and gas lines. He is a perfectionist and does excellent work! I would highly recommend this man.

They quoted me $565 for the work but ended up charging me more. They didn't tell me ahead of time that they ran into a few problems and were going to charge me extra - I saw the change when they told me the total after the work was done. The extra work was created because my old water heater was tall and thin and the one he brought was short and wide. I told him I could have measured it ahead of time and he told me they can't rely on their customers for correct measurements. While doing the work he threw things out the door into the garage which I felt he could have brought in a garbage bag. Then he put some of his trash in my recycling bin and I had to pull them out. He complained about the pipes I have and was verbally critical regarding the construction of my condo. He should have been more courteous in my home. Very unprofessional behavior.

They did a real good job hooking this up. They treated me very well, I saw a report about this company having an attitude, but I liked his attitude. He does good work.

I called Ron, he came out the next day, removed my grill and the 500 pounds of concrete that encased the old post. He came back the next business day and installed the new post and grill in just about an hour. In the words of JJ from the Jeffersons, dyno-mite! I couldn't be more pleased.

After receiving a very good report on Gaslite through Angie's List, I contacted the company to discuss the specific service I needed. Ron called back very promptly and when we initially did not make contact, he offered his cell phone to me as a more effective way of communicating. When we did finally make contact, he started asking me about my grill, where I purchased it, what was the brand, how much did it cost, etc. At first I thought these were all relevant questions to the requested service but then his questions started turning into criticism of the home improvement stores (e. g., Lowe's, Home Depot, etc.) and the fact that you can't count on them to advise consumers appropriately. When I mentioned that the specialty grill stores I researched were 4 times higher than some of the home improvement stores and the quality was not four times better (in my estimations). Then he mentioned that his company could've sold me a grill for 300 less than the specialty store (which would still have been 3 times higher than one of the home improvement stores). I was unaware that his company had a "store" and he said he didn't he works out of his house but can purchase for consumers. He quoted me a price of around $150 for the install but because there are over "700 grills" are the market he hinted it could be more complicated than I think. One of his last statements to me was "Everyone comes to me after the damage is done by purchasing something from a home improvement store when I could've given them a better value". We initially set up an appointment for two days later, but after reflecting on how he conducted himself over the phone, I canceled the appointment. I called for a specific service, I did not appreciate a lecture on my poor choice of store/grill purchase. It was none of his business, I also felt he was setting me up for a higher charge than he originally quoted me when we first started the conversation. I will not call his company again.

We were very pleased with Gaslite's work and with the price. He was very thorough, explaining what he was doing. The leak was first discovered by Gorjanc Comfort Services. We had them come out to do a yearly furnace inspection and maintenance. While they were here, they checked the gas lines for leaks using a handheld device. They found a leak and recommended that it be repaired immediately and quoted us a price of $750. We were a little suspicious of the device and making a quick decision on something that expensive. The device supposedly could detect methane and gave a visual and audible signal when the technician moved it close to one of the gas pipe joints. However, you couldn't see or smell a leak. Gaslite just used a spray bottle with soapy water. It showed exactly where the leak was (soap bubbles at one of the joints).

Ron did an excellent job at a very excellent price. I called him last minute and he fit me in and worked around my schedule. He said he has installed thousands of water heaters in his career and has been in the business for a few decades. He was fast: start to finish about 45 minutes. Not a quick cheap job, just seemed like he had a lot of genuine experience, like he could do it in his sleep. He brought one assistant who helped and handed him stuff as he worked. He has this toolbox with everything he would need in it, and didn't need to "go back" or anything. He seemed to know the building codes and what's good and what's what with all the brands of water heaters. Seemed like someone you can trust with his opinion on water heater brand reliability and all that.

These guys showed up on time time and got to work. They ran solid gas pipe to an overhead heater. Hooked up a side burner. Put together the guts of a large gas grill and hooked up the gas. When they were done they showed my wife how the products worked!

Responded fast. Difficult location, but did an excellent job. Also, checked other gas lines as a service - nice touch!

We suspected a gas leak in our stove top line. When I called Ron and described the setup, he immediately knew it was a type of gasoline that has found to be prone to leakage and should be replaced immediately. I called back with the length measurement so he could bring the correct part, and he came out the next day. I also asked him to change the shut off valve, which I felt was stiff and not easy to use. He replaced with a nice easy to use lever. I also asked his recommendation on how to deal with an old gas pool heater, which he then disconnected and hauled away. He was very careful to leave everything cleaned up. From my discussion with him I believe he is very knowledgeable about all gas line and safety issues, I would not hesitate to use him for any other gas projects.

Fixed it the same day (Saturday). Ron was prompt, professional and did an absolutely first-rate job in a difficult location under my basement stairs. He went above and beyond my expectations by re-routing some existing pipes in order to make the tank easier to service in the future. Very very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

My wife was very pleased with Gaslite. Ron was very professional and businesslike. Excellent value and great service. Would absolutely hire again.

I called on a Friday afternoon. Ron was out to the house on Saturday morning to take a look at the house/yard where the work would be done. He gave me a quote on the phone and then another when he arrived for a "look" on Saturday. The two costs were within $50.00. He was willing to do the work the next week, but we weren't available until the following week. The work was done 10 days later. He arrived early on a Monday and was done before noon. He and a second individual did the work. Both were very professional. The cost was exactly what he said it would be. We love the work that he did and the new grill.

Work was done in a very timely and efficient manner. Called on a Friday and the work was done on Tuesday morning after a long Holiday weekend.
