+ 0 moreHad a coupon from a mailer for savings on gas log sets installed in off season (May). Dave came to the house and checked the existing fireplace and gas line and confirmed that he could reduce the installation charge because he only had to install an elbow instead of a whole gas line. By the time Dave came out to the house, the coupon had expired, and Dave wrote up the order without the full discount. When I complained, George, the owner, allowed the coupon, but I was charged an additional fee for the shutoff valve. After I had paid in full for the gas logs and installation, I had no contact from the store for several weeks. When I called the store, the person who answered the phone was unhelpful and somewhat rude. I left messages for Dave and George, and did not get calls returned. Finally, I reached George at the store and was told that the installation would be delayed due to the busy grill installation season. Eventually, Dave installed the gas logs, and everything works OK.
Description of Work: Installed gas log set in wood burning fireplace. Work included extending an existing gas line and installing a shut-off valve.
