I was just in your establishment and was treated EXTREMELY RUDE! (September 2nd 2023 @ 10:15 AM.) When I entered I saw that the clerk was doing something, so I patiently waited until she finished. And came to the counter. I saw she already seemed flustered. I said "Good Morning" and responded, "I was wondering when you were going to speak!" (In a snappy tone of voice). She asked, "Is Wednesday okay." I responded, "Would you be able to do it by tomorrow afternoon? Again she responded angrily, "NO! I DON'T HAVE ANY PRESSERS!" I then said ok and took my clothes back. She pointed out that I had an ant on my clothes. As I was looking, she very sternly said, "BRUSH THAT OUTSIDE!" Now I can understand having a bad day for whatever reason, however, your customers don't come here to have it taken out on them. Especially if the customer is not being rude. I have supported your establishment over the years. Therefore, due ti this, (Not the first time), I will no longer support your business

I was not happy with their service at all, they broke things and lost some of my clothing and all kinds of things are missing after they were in my home. They did not install my dishwasher properly so we had a flood that caused water damage in our dinning room. They didn't install the ice maker properly among other things. My cabinets are damaged due to water from a leaking pipe under the sink that they installed. I would not recommend them at all.
Description of Work: We had a kitchen fire 2 years ago and hired them to do restorations for us.

Do: Make sure they contact your insurance adjustor and get permission as soon as possible after the fire to remove your personal possessions. This was an issue, the adjustor thought they had the house empty and they let the house sit for almost 6 weeks before I submitted an inquiry to the insurance company. They did move quickly once they had verification that they could proceed with the packout. DO: Make sure that the contents person knows what items should be cleaned and stored and what could be disposed of. In my case, they threw out perfectly good kitchen items (they did reimburse me) but packed and cleaned rags which was a complete waste of time and money. Also, much of what they removed from the closets was ultimately donated to charity so they could have done me a big favor and just disposed of a lot of the clothing which would have saved considerable time and money. When the contents were returned, it took me several weeks to go through everything and most of what was returned was donated to charity. Could of saved a huge cleaning bill. DO: Insist on getting a written contract as soon as possible with a completion date noted. Stay on the project manager and the company management to make sure they adhere to this date. DO: Ask your insurance adjustor if this contractor is one they have worked with in the past. If not, get another recommendation from your adjustor. If you go with a contractor that has connections to your insurance company, your adjustor can put pressure on them to make sure they get the job completed on time. DO: Make sure you get documentation of all delays, make sure permits are in place and that inspections have been done.
Description of Work: We had a house fire in February. Farrow showed up that night and boarded up the house. They returned the next day and pitched their restoration service to me. They seemed to have it all together, worked through the estimate with their estimator and our insurance company. But then the delays started. Farrow does good work but they seem to have serious communications issues between the different departments. I was told the house would be complete 3-4 months after the fire when in reality I was out of the house for almost 7 months. I will say the restoration work they did was more than satisfactory. It was the continous delays that drove me crazy. The quality of the work is satisfactory and the house was completely restored and up to code. You have to stay diligent and work with the project manager to make sure all work included on the estimate is done and if any changes to the scope are made, both parties are in agreement. Ultimately, they bent over backwards to ensure I was completely satisfied.

They did not follow thru with the agreement we came to after I voiced my dissatisfaction and therefore I have began legal pursuit in the Summit County court system. I would not recommend this company to ANYONE unless they have had a drastic change of practice.

Description of Work: I took a sweater and a twin-size wool blanket to them on a Monday morning. The items were supposed to be ready 3 days later (on Thursday afternoon around 5:00 p.m.). I called on Thursday around 2:00 p.m. to see if the items were ready. I was told they weren't ready that day, but they would be ready on Friday. On Saturday (around Noon), I went over to pick up the items and I was told the blanket was "still in the dryer!" (The sweater was ready.) I was shocked. I said to the clerk that since I had dropped off the items on Monday morning, and was told on Thursday to stop by on Friday, I could not understand why on Saturday morning the blanket was still "in the dryer." I asked to talk with a person who could explain why the blanket was ready. A man came out and I told him the same thing I told the clerk about how I had brought the items in on Monday morning and they should have been ready Thursday. The man went to the back and finally brought out the blanket. I paid the money, and left. Several months ago I took some items to this same dry cleaner and I remember that the items were not ready when promised either. I will find another dry cleaner that cleans "household items" in addition to clothes.

Description of Work: CLEANED ABOUT 30 VENTS AND AIR RETURNS. REMOVED A LOT OF DIRT AND DUST IN VENTS, WHICH APPEARED NOT TO HAVE BEEN CLEANED FOR A VERY LONG TIME. THEY HAD TO CHANGE THE COLLECTION BAG IN THEIR TRUCK MID-WAY THROUGH PROCESS.
