It went great. We had a new roof which leaked at the chimney and our original roofer was not responding to fix the problem. He kept telling us the chimney needed tuckpointing, which we had done but this did not solve the problem. We had several roofers and chimney repair contractors look at it, and none could/would really diagnose the problem. Alex and one helper came and re-did our chimney flashing in one day and we have not had the leak since. We felt desperate since our inside wall was leaking and getting damaged. Alex felt confident that he had fixed the problem and that if not, he would come back and work with us until the problem was fixed. No need. He got the problem solved the first time. He handled everything very professionally, showed up when he said he would and took the time to really explain things to us.

I could only find 2 companies who repair box gutters. Sandor came out within 24 hrs of our call and gave us an estimate. The only other estimate we got was more than twice this estimate. The crew were energetic, professional, respectful, and worked as a team. They cleaned up each day and kept in close contact with us as to the progress. Sandor gave us a start date of about 10 days after we gave him the signed contract and he started the job the day he said he would. They completed the work within a week despite a rain delay. The best part was the job was extremely well done and reflected an old world craftsmanship that is hard to find these days. We would recommend this company highly especially to people who have box gutters.

I heard about Exact Roofing Co. from a neighbor. In the past, I called several roofer's to come out and give me an estimate on a slate roof repair. They either never came or never called? So when I about another roofing company I was skeptical. Alex from Exact Roofing came right out to look at the job. He was very professional and very knowledgeable about slate roofs. I had four shingles missing and he came two days later to fix them. I was so happy with the work I signed up to Angie's List just so I could tell people who may have had my same frustration with roofing companies who just want to replace a whole roof instead of repairing one. Exact Roofing Co. is the real deal.

We had a leak coming into a bedroom. Sandor did an estimate the morning after I called (two large companies kept us waiting weeks--one finally called back to do an estimate AFTER Exact Roofing had completed the work!). He quickly found the leak and gave the lowest estimate. The price was so reasonable we elected to have him do more work, replacing all the original 1948 flat roofs and valleys. He and his partner were a pleasure to work with. They did beautiful copper work and are true experts in working with copper and clay tile. They started the work promptly due to the fact that we had an active leak and finished in a timely fashion given the weather. We couldn't be more pleased! With clay tile, we really needed someone with special expertise. In the future I will call Exact Roofing for any tile maintenance, gutter work or questions. This company is a true gem. Small, responsive, prompt, expert, reasonably priced and personable. Most highly recommended!

Exact Roofing responded relatively quickly to our phone call, they came and gave a quote that met our budget. They were very professional, and were very prompt with completing the jobs. They cleaned up the yard and disposed of all debris.

In the two and half years it has taken to reconstruct my house, your company has been without question by far the best organization I have dealt with. Not only did you do what you said you were going to do, but you also did it when you said it was going to be done. It is very rare, but very nice, to have such an experience which is unfortunately diametrically opposed to what seems to be standard practice in the building business these days. Thank you for employing neat, courteous, skilled, knowledgeable, experienced, and conscientious workers and thank you for following through on the entire job. You all have been a pleasure to deal with and my slate roof looks perfect. They were extremely professional. They completed the work in the time frame outlined and charged what they said they would charge!
