 + -1 moreGreat service, good prices. If you don't want hassles with your closing, I'd use Equity. It's also great to have an independent title company. You don't have to worry about them being owned by someone (like a real estate company) that they're beholden to, and you don't have to worry about them bending the rules because they owe someone in the industry a favor. Price includes title insurance, closing fee, title binder, etc.
Description of Work: Equity Title (through escrow agent Clark Broida) has done three home closings for my family (Two purchases and one sale). Clark, Nora and the others at Equity are the best! They're on top of the lenders, realtors, etc., and really keep things running smoothly to get the deal closed on time without any snags or last-minute surprises. They're also good about getting copies of documents to customers ahead of time so the documents can be reviewed before the person is expected to sign them.
