All aspects of this work were completed timely and of excellent quality. The barn-door project was undertaken to be able to close off the living room from a bathroom and bedroom area. Chris built the door himself which is wood with a piece of frosted class toward the upper portion. The door is perfectly constructed and looks like it's always been there. The compliments keep coming. This is the third or fourth time I have hired Chris for a home project and I will definitely continue to do so
Description of Work: Constructed and installed a barn-style door, removed a non-functioning thermostat and installed a new one and patched the wall around it; repaired two doors that were not closing properly; installed magnetic closers on several cabinets.

[Member Name Removed], Thank you for your positive review. Thank you for the referral to Russ. His job was a very unique situation. Without our combined efforts we would have never solved the issues related to the installation of five linked and movable doors.

Description of Work: Chris did an excellent job. He removed a double wall oven and installed a new one. He performed some tricky adjustments modifying the old cabinet, etc. His expertise and problem solving skills were much appreciated. Definitely went the extra mile. Very patient, courteous. So glad he was on the list!

From the moment I contacted Chris, he was professional, thorough, and punctual. He came and completed the job, and despite the fact that some parts were easy (the baseboards) and some parts required more finesse (the doors), the entire room looks professional and complete. We allowed him artistic license on designing the doors and they are beautiful. The price we paid did not include painting and polyurethaning the woodwork, as we told him we would complete that part ourselves. Because of the slope of the floor, one of the doors didn't open all the way, but he came back and took off as much as he could without making everything look "off"-at no additional charge. Chris showed his artistry and mastery of woodworking on our job and we would not hesitate to recommend him!
Description of Work: The job included installing finish trim in a 25' square room all around, including a Z-shelf on top of a knee wall, and making 12 doors for storage cupboards. We had finished an attic to the point of needing these items.

Chris showed up at the precise time indicated and this was an excellent experience from start to finish. The drywall repair was flawless and no seams could be seen after the repair. The closet system was reassembled exactly as it was originally. The very resonable cost was exactly what had been quoted. An A++ rating would be given if available.
Description of Work: Repaired a section of drywall in the back of a closet that had been removed by a plumbing repair. Flawlessly reassembled the closet system.

The door and trim was stained and is a perfect match to the other woodwork and doors in the same area of the house. The door looks like it has always been there. The cost was very reasonable as it included the door, all the matched framing around the door, the base molding and shoe molding and the hardware for the door and the preparation and staining of all the wood. Chris is a fine craftsman who finds attention to detail very important. He also stays in communication if parts are delayed in any way and follows through on dates and times without exception. He is a joy to work with.
Description of Work: Installed an interior door where none existed previously. The cost of the work included the cost of the door, doorknobs, hinges and decorative woodwork around the door and molding at the base. The door was stained to match existing woodwork in the area.
