Description of Work: Hot water tank flush and installed a ball valve. The valve was somewhat challenging due to it's location. It was in a base cabinet under a laundry tub sink in the vicinity of a number of other joints. Still he completed the job rather quickly and I felt his cost was just a little pricey even with the $10 Angie's list discount. Overall I was pleased with his professionalism and the outcome.

Description of Work: He replaced the toilet flapper assembly and installed a new water turn off valve that was no longer working. He was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable. I would definitely call him again for future plumbing issues.

Elie was great. He showed up on time as promised and went right to work to snake out drain and give advice on keeping it clean. I asked him to go upstairs and stop a leak in the bath tub, and he did this as well. He is now my new home's plumber going forward.

Very good. Elie recognized that the steam pipe to the existing radiator was improperly sized. He was able to move the existing steam line about a foot into a corner, which opened up the wall where the old baseboard was, and this allowed us to push the wall mount radiator even farther out of the way. Elie also came out for an emergency call, when we found our refrigerator's water line valve was broken. This allowed us to keep on track with refinishing the floors, and not lose valuable time. We bought the radiator ourselves from www.steamradiator.com (24'' x 24'', single pipe $500). We tried to get quotes from other heating/cooling contractors, and they ranged from $2500 (Central heating) to $1300(Verne Ellsworth), and they wouldn't be able to wall-mount the radiator they were suggesting, which would be a problem with clearances. I saved a minimum of $400 by buying the radiator myself and having Elie install it. I will call Elie for other plumbing needs in the future.
Description of Work: Removed baseboard steam radiator, that was taking up a whole wall, and replaced with wall-mount radiator.

Elie is very pleasant and responds promptly to phone calls. We have used him for many jobs over the years, and have always been greatly satisfied. He responds well in emergencies.
Description of Work: 1) Snaked out bathroom sink, including pulling trap and replacing washers. 2) uncloged toilet which had a large piece of plastic blocking the pipe (don't ask). Had to pull toilet out of floor and fight with toilet from both sides to locate and dislodge the offending plastic piece, since a regular snake wouldn't do the trick.
