Great - very helpful with tips and guidance.

I went into the store on 4/2/15 to sign up for a lawn mower tune-up plus pick-up and delivery. While I was there talking to Nick, the price of the deposit went from $20 to $25. The wait time went from 1 1/2 weeks to 2 or more. I signed up anyway. I waited 5 days for someone to call me to arrange to pick-up the mower because Nick said someone would call. Nobody called so I called them. I spoke with Joe who said the first available time was 4/9/15 between noon and 4. I chose noon after asking if that was a range of time or specific appointments. He said it was a specific time. I waited until 12:17 pm today and when nobody came, I called again and Joe answered. I asked if I was on the schedue and he said, "No, when would you like us to come?" I told him I had already spoken to him and arranged for noon. I asked him if he had written it down and he said no. Then he offered to come right away. I said good because I had been sitting around waiting. When he got here, he didn't have my paperwork or the other half of the ID tag to attach to the lawn mower that I had gotten when I paid the deposit. I had visions of my lawn mower being lost forever with no ID so I told him to just forget it. I was also wondering if and when the tune-up would actually take place and how long it would take to get the mower back. We had used their mower service 32 yrs ago and had a bad experience then also. I was hoping maybe things had improved but I guess not.

I took three knives in for them. It was chef knife, boning knife, and paring knife of medium to high quality. I took them in and once again, they did them right away. I was in and out of the store within 15 minutes. The two large knives were $4.99 a piece and the smaller one was $3.99. They were very pleasant and responsive. I brought the knives home, washed them and used them right away. It was obvious in use they had done a good job with them.

I had a very good experience with them. I went in close to the end of the day with my lawnmower. I didn’t take the blade off the lawnmower because I had never done it before. They were able to complete the work within about 15 minutes. They took the blade off, sharpened it, and put it back on the mower for me. I didn’t have to wait, which was great! They were very pleasant about it and even helped me get the mower out of the car. When I used the mower, it was obvious to me that they had done a good a job because of the performance of the blade.

I use Dunn's on a regular basis for all of my miscellaneous home and garden needs. From paint to house repair items; they have exremely knowledgeable and helpful employees,

Just happy with them in general. They will just screen repair for you. You drop of the screen they repaired. It fit. It worked. It was in good shape when it was done. I will give them an "A" for price based on some other places I looked they were quite a bit more expensive for the same service. It took them a little longer than I would have expected to do something like you know a small project but guess they were backed up on those.

It appears it was cut wrong in the beginning. I got through the season with it and took it back with no receipt. They quickly and easily admitted it was cut wrong and immediately offered t redo it at no charge. With no recipient and a year later I didn't expect they would be so honorable

We had a storm window replaced. It started with when they told us they would call us in a week when it was ready. They never called. We picked up the window and brought it home. It sat in the garage overnight and then my husband tried to place it the window. The window cracked in his hands. Mind no one bumped on anything and I had it wrapped in a moving blanket in the car. I took it back. The men there were nothing but RUDE and unhelpful. He gave me several reasons why it was my fault and not his problem!! 0 customer service! One of the reasons he told me was bc we took it from 70 degrees to 30, assuming we had the window indoors, except the window was in the garage the whole night! He tried to put his poor poor quality of a product on us. We will never shop there again. Shaker hardware store on Chagrin is much much better!

Dunn Hardware & Home Repair. Last week I spent, they did screen repair and other stuff, so about $52. They were great. I took to damaged screen to them on a Thursday, they screens were ready on Saturday. There is never a line in there. Somebody comes up and they say who is next, what can I help you with, are you being taken care of. I didn't have a 10% off coupon with me and they were having a special, one of the woman walked by and told the cashier to give me the the 10% off that they were having. Again it's one of those local businesses you can't always get the good service in the the big box store.

I've used Dunn Hardware & Home Repair a number of times. They're very good. Their customer service is outstanding. I know the people by name and they know me by name. They bend over backwards to help.

Frequent visits - never disappointed.

They gave me a good recommendation for someone to put my flooring down for me. I thought that the finished floor was just great.

I took it back to Dunn Hardware and they readily agree that the plastic was cut too narrow and agreed to a no charge replacement. No argument, no haggling.They were very professional and fair. I will definitely use them again, even though their move has taken them farther away from my house than their old store.

They are very helpful and very friendly. There is a nice combination of people there. They have a very big space and their staff seemed very stable. I would rate them high overall. I have never been dissatisfied with their hardware. I would use them again in the future.

I go to Dunn Hardware on a regular basis. The staff members are courteous and ready to answer any questions, find any needed materials and give advice about at home projects. It is always easy to find a staff member ready and willing to help.

Great customer service, The paint department is the best in the city

There is always someone to talk to and they know what they doing.

Everything was great. I have had good luck with them in the past. They are very helpful. Their prices seem fair, and they even called when it was ready. I have been very happy with them.

Anytime something breaks, I can bring in the parts and they can tell me what I need and how to fix it.

A great place to go for your plumbing needs, they are very helpful in determining what brand of washers you need just by looking at the old one. Great customer service!

I HAVE RECENTLY GONE BACK TO DUNN HARDWARE INSTEAD OF BIG STORES LIKE HOME DEPOT. THE PEOPLE AT DUNN GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO TALK TO YOU & SHARE THEIR EXPERTISE & THEIR GOOD ADVICE.

EXPLAINED HOW TO TAKE THE SCREEN OUT WITHOUT BENDING THE FRAME. SHOWED ME EXAMPLES OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF SCREENS THAT MY WINDOW WOULD ACCOMMODATE. VERY POLITE. WORK WAS DONE ON TIME AND VERY REASONABLY PRICED. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HARDWARE STORE FOR ANY AND ALL NEEDS.

THEY BEAT THEIR ESTIMATED READY DATE BY A WEEK! I REALLY LIKE THE SERVICE!
