Description of Work: I had never had a key to my front door, so I called Duman's . | The house was built in 1927 and, apparently between then and now, the lock had become loose, so the previous owners tried to stabilize it by pressing putty in where a set screw should have gone, making the fix for this job extremely difficult. | Total replacement of this rare lock for this door could have been a lot more expensive. This locksmith, however, succeeded it getting it to work and even replaced the inside brass doorknob so that it would no longer spin freely. |

Description of Work: Removed a lock from a security chain that I had. I lost the key to the lock and wanted to use the chain again. They removed the lock and sold me another one after explaining to me the downside of reusing the lock I had them remove. Very prompt service and a very fair price.

Wonderful!
Description of Work: Bob Duman opened, and made a key for, a slot machine my wife bought (keyless & locked) at an auction in Vermont. The work was completed much faster than he had estimated and he took time to make sure I understood how to work the lock. Absolutely top-rate service in every way.

ROSS DUMAN CAME OUT. IT WAS AN EMERGENCY. HE TOOK OUT THE LOCK ON OUR FRONT DOOR AND ORDERED A NEW PART. THE PART HAS BEEN IN FOR QUITE A WHILE AND I HAVE CALLED ROSS FOUR TIMES TO LET HIM KNOW. HE HAS YET TO CALL ME BACK AND MY FRONT DOOR HAS NO LOCK ON IT.
