DiNunzio Landscaping

We are long time customers, having both large and small jobs done by DiNunzio. Our original patio was designed and installed by DiNunzio Landscaping. We then had an upgrade and enlargement of our patio area done by DiNunzio. We were happy with the first job and even more pleased with the second. We used DiNunzion snow plowing for the first time only because our longtime plow service moved to a warmer climate. The snow plowing service was excellent and timely. The Work Crews Because DiNunzio's crews service a lot of homes in our development we see them often. The crews are professional and courteous with well marked equipment. There is consistency in the crews from year to year which adds to the level of expertise and dependability. We have recommended DiNunzio to friends and family on multiple occasions without hesitation.

Rich and his crew did a great job. They were able to remove a large root system left from previous large trees and completely redo the lawn. Work was completed before promised, Rich took the time to make sure the little details were covered and was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done. The crew worked well and quickly. Recommended highly !

I wish I had a before and after picture. Our front beds were so overgrown you couldn’t see plants. It was ridiculous!! I can’t believe the transformation. What an excellent job. This was a big job and price was beyond fair for all the work they did!! Thank you. I will definitely recommend you.

We were happy with their work. They did a detailed job every week. The only issue is that they are a but expensive, but you get what you pay for.

They are good. I have used them for a couple of years. They don't give a good discount. People from Angie's List they are suppose to give a discount, but the don't. They are good though. They have a very high price. Sometimes I have issues. If prices is ok.

This is my third winter using this company. They remove snow from my driveway during the winter. They are a VERY reliable company. They normally remove snow from your driveway whenever the snow reaches 2 inches. During snow storms they remove snow twice a day (normally between 3am and 6am in the morning, which is great for people who work and need a clear driveway in the morning; they will also clear your driveway in the early afternoon so that it is clear when you arrive home. The reason I gave them a B for price is that they can be a little expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for. Again, they are very reliable. I would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone.

I have used Dinunzio Landscaping for many years. They have provided me with consistently great service. I use them for my regular (weekly) lawn mowing, fertilization, planting bed maintenance (mulching and weeding) and anything else that comes up during the season. Cost above represents monthly maintenance charge. Rich is great to work with

DiNunzio did a fantastic job on the yard of our newly built home. Rich was very personable and came with great ideas to maximize the use of our yard and deck, and brings many years of experience. The paver work - front walk and rear patio w/ firepit were done perfectly. Even through a harsh winter, no pavers shifted or moved. It is as perfect as day 1. His knowledge of the Northeast Ohio area allows him to pick and choose shrubs that fit the climate and the direction the home faces. All our trees and shrubs are thriving and really set off our home. The lawn is the best part. He knows how to make grass grown in any condition. Our lot was solid clay and rock and he did all the right things - killing weeds early, tilling the top layer, and bringing in a TON of top soil. He then followed up with hydroseed using a blend that resulted in the most beautiful lawn imaginable. Even after the job was done, he had has crews stop by to check on the new plantings, water as necessary, and then trim for winter. I have recommended him to a number of my friends who have also used him. I will definitely use DiNunzio in the future.

The experience went very well. We had 2 separate consultations with the company's owner to agree upon a design and materials. Once the contract was signed, the work began within a few weeks. The process is impressive due to the amount or workers that participate and how much is accomplished in a single day. All of the removal activities were completed in a one day. The new retaining walls were installed in a total of 3 days and the planting and mulching was completed in 1 day. At any given time, there were as many as 10 workers on the job. I was particularly impressed with how meticulous the crew was in creating the retaining walls and made sure everything was perfectly straight and level. When considering how much work went into the walls and the cost of the materials, it seems like really good value for the cost. The effort just to get all of the materials to our home would have been significant if they hadn't handled all of that for us. In terms of the planting and design, the company's owner is very dedicated to coming up with a good design and had really good ideas as to how to make the landscaping look great. We are very pleased with the time, attention, and results of this project. Update - 9/9/2015: After having so much success in working with DiNunzio Landscaping in June of 2015, we contacted the owner again in late August to get a quote on landscape lighting and replacing our front walkway with a paver walkway. This second interaction was every bit as good as the first and we are thrilled with the results of these 2 new projects which were recently completed. The attention to detail on all of the stone paver work was exceptional once again and the lighting is a nice design touch. We plan to continue to work with DiNunzio on all of our landscaping projects.

We tried 3 snowplow services until we found DiNunzio. We've used them for a couple of years now. They are great! They're always timely and they do a great job. They shovel our walk as well. Their prices are reasonable.

I was in a pinch to get snow removal at my rental property, so I called several providers to try to make arrangements. Even though it turns out that my property is outside their service area, they called me back within minutes to let me know. Thank you for not leaving me hanging! It's a courtesy that many providers overlook.

The job went very well. Within 3 weeks, the entire yard was complete. We are pleased with the grading that was done. It's amazing that we went from such a rocky yard to a nice even lot. Rich planted 4 trees and shrubs. Although I didn't have 100% say in what was picked, I'm pleased with the overall look. Rich, with his vast years of experience, planted shrubs that were a nice variety of greenery and flowering plants. I casually mentioned that I wanted beds along the house in the future and they were done! He is keeping an eye on the lawn and has stopped by several times to check on the grass. I will use him next year for our backyard.

I was very pleased with the results after work was completed. Rich chose the plants and shrubs and I was happy with the ones he selection. One of the bushes died, however, and I have called him multiple times over the past month about having it replaced without getting a call back. Its a shame because the lawn looks so good except for this one piece. I was hoping to use him for the back yard but will not.

Not happy with the service. They were not very punctual to clear the snow. When they came, only 60% of the snow was removed from the driveway. The truck broke 3 of our lawn bushes, and put so many scratches on our driveway.

The work was done on time and in a completely professional manner. Each and every employee that worked on my yard was professional and friendly. If had any questions, Mr. DiNunzio answered them and explained every step. Not one time did I have to clean anything up, as they did a fantastic job at that too. I plan on having more work done to my home and I will definitely use DiNunzio Landscaping.

Yesterday, Thursday 1/2/14, was a very bad snow day in Northeast OH. My parents, also Angie List subscribers, use Dinunzio Landscaping to snowplow their driveway. My father is currently in a rehab facility after a bout with pneumonia. My family is taking my mom back and forth to the rehab facility every day. The driveway was plowed sometime Thursday morning. It snowed all day and also was very windy with blowing snow. When my cousin took my mom at 1:00 PM, the driveway was somewhat snow covered but passable--understandable for the conditions. When I brought my mom home about 5:45 PM, the driveway was completely covered and I could not drive up it. I had to leave my 92-year old mom in the car at the bottom of the driveway and shovel a path for her to walk up to the house. Dinunzio did come much later that evening to plow. I called this morning to complain. The woman I talked to said that they couldn't help it and that the snow was blowing so much that there was no way to keep the driveway clear. She said that even if they had come before 5:00 PM, the driveway would be covered again because of blowing snow. She said according to the contract that they come sometime before 6:30 AM and before 6:30 PM. (They were not there before 6:30 PM.) I explained that my mom comes home daily around 5:30 PM. The woman could not assure me that they would come before that time. I mentioned that the snowplowing service that I use at my home comes around 5:30 AM before I leave for work and comes again around 4:30 PM before I come home from work and that this works out great. Obviously, when it snows a lot and the wind is blowing, the driveway can become covered again. I was able to get back up my driveway at 7:30 PM when I got home from my mom's house. My driveway was somewhat covered but still passable--understandable for the conditions. In this area, we've all dealt with snow in winter; it's nothing new. Last year, many of us paid for snowplowing service that rarely was needed. No problem, I'd pay every year for no snow! This year, we have seen more snow and earlier than most seasons. Some snowplowing services can adjust and handle it and some can't. Maybe Dinunzio took on too many contracts. Maybe somebody quit. I don't know and I don't care. I just want my mother's driveway cleared at a reasonable time so that I can get her safely into her house. This is not the first time we have had to call Dinunzio to come out. They seem to come extremely early in the morning--today it was at 3:30 AM. Two weeks ago, my mom had an AM doctor's appointment and my sister could not get out of the driveway and there were no extreme conditions.

It has been snowing for three days and they have not shown once for plowing the driveway. I had real trouble getting the car up yesterday.

I have always had problems with drainage in my backyard. The previous owners had some drainage work done but it didn't seem to be working. Rich explored what was there and found that the work previously done was not right and really not addressing the problem. He corrected that by putting in new drainage tiles in a different area and making sure that this time the water was being correctly carried away. Later in the summer he rebuilt my brick patio, redoing the base, changing the slant away from the house and putting in beautiful stone steps. Rich's workers carefully explored and checked for potential problems. Rich also worked with me to come up with solutions for problems mindful of my budget. His workers were always professional and considerate and cleaned up the work site at the end of each day.

I have been with Rich for six years. He is excellent, professional, and reasonable in his approach. If it is something he does not do, he has recommended quality people who get the job done right. Definitely the person to do your landscaping. Also does patio design and installation, and snow removal
