An old clocked was cleaned and fixed perfectly! He explained everything he was doing thoroughly and was very professional!

Same issue as one other reviewer; No call/no show. Even called back after and gave him another opportunity, and still no call back.

I could not have asked for better service. He was so complete and thorough. He explained what he found and suggested that he keep the clock for a bit to make sure that it continued to keep proper time and chime when expected to. He was easy to work with and he kept us up to date on where he was in the repair process. I waited a bit to submit this review to make sure that the clock continued to keep time when we got it home. It absolutely does. His pricing was extremely conservative and I would recommend him highly.

Die was wonderful

Charles Barrett made an appointment with us and then never showed or called. We tried to call him about an hour of waiting on him and left him a voice mail and he never returned the call. Very bad business Charles!! Would NOT recommend!

I contacted Charles the owner to inspect, clean and repair a tambour mantle clock that I had purchased at an auction and would not stay running. At that time, the actual mechanical condition was unknown to me. I was given an estimated two week turnaround time, depending on the actual condition and extent of any work required. The clock was completed in the promised timeframe even though the movement needed to have 11 bushings replaced. In addition, Charles cleaned and polished the case which was still in "auction condition" when I turned it over to him. He answered all of my questions on care and maintenance, and I couldn't be more satisfied.
