Go to repair muffler,after one day muffler broken,waste my many,Never go again,Not recomanded.

Detroit auto clinic was great. Brought my car in on a Saturday morning without an appointment and they managed to have my car ready to go Monday afternoon with the entire exhaust/muffler replaced. Excellent service! Will definitely be going back to them if i ever need anything in the future

They were able to accomplish everything that I needed at a fair price. My best friend is a mechanic but prohibitively far away for me to go to him. Nevertheless, when I asked him to give me a second opinion based on the diagnosis, they actually beat his price. I will continue to go to there.

If cost is your main concern, I would recommend them for straightforward issues that don't require troubleshooting labor. Paid $40 up front for troubleshooting labor. It cost another $90 for the air filter to be replaced. I was able to pick my car up that evening. The service was very friendly and professional, but I didn't completely understand until I got the final bill that the up front amount was solely just the labor cost to troubleshoot and that actually fixing it would be a significantly greater cost. I should've asked for clarification. It's a small shop and it ultimately is fair to expect something for their labor regardless of the outcome. Go to them for quality first and cost second.

Did the brake repair for what I thought was a very good price. I had a leaky exhaust flange and the owner suggested a good, economical fix ($75) that made sense considering it is a 12 year old car. He saved me money since I know many places would have tried a more expensive fix with after-market pipes. Car sounds like it should and the brakes feel perfect. I will use Detroit Auto Clinic again - I have a lot of confidence they do the right thing.

He was very patient. He was very busy the day I reached out and said he would keep me in mind for the next opening. I really appreciate that he stayed true to his word and remembered to call back and get me scheduled within that same day. He made the whole process easy and never pressured me and I appreciate his customer service.

A few months pass still hearing the occasional noise, but I don't drive much, and the wheel literally falls off of the car. The mechanic that fixed it showed me a shattered ball bearing and some "arm " that should have been replaced. He said looks like the brakes had been replaced but nothing else. It could have been a tragic situation. wouldn't recommend this "mechanic"

He is really very good!. I have never have a problem with what he does, he is a nice guy and he gets some thing done.

Very good service, punctual and respectful. Took my girlfriend car for job service. Her mechanic quoted her $400 for the job and said the rotors needs replacement. These guys were honest and decent. Got the car done on time and we paid only $160 for the job done. They said the rotors were in great condition and didn't need replacing. Highly recommended!!

I have used Detroit Auto Clinic several times over the last year or so. Had them do routine service like oil changes and also bigger repair jobs. I always found them to be honest and straightforward, and reasonably priced.

Made an appointment to bring car in, dropped off as scheduled, completed as scheduled at same price as initially estimated. Highly recommended.

It was great. It was a reasonable price and everything that we wanted. They were pleasant and customer flexible in scheduling. Their prices are much lower than anybody else.

Gilbert and his employees are fabulous. I never take my vehicles anywhere else and I live 26 miles west of him and work downtown Cleveland.

It was smooth sailing?.it took them 4.5 hours to fit it in and complete the repair. The staff was very very polite and friendly as well as extremely knowledgeable. It was a great experience.

You can't beat his pricing. He's a very honest mechanic. He can't always get to things immediately but if you have the time he's great.

I last used them in February and I spent about $200. They let us bring the car in to get it checked to make sure everything was good with it. It went well. They invested in the service to make sure t withstood the test of time on the road.

My service was fairly simple, and was done promptly and courteously. While I waited, I overheard other customers talking with the owner about work needed on their cars. In some cases, the owner talked the customers out of costly repairs because of the age of their cars.

It went well. I did not have anything major. They did it promptly and at a good price. I liked their feedback on Angie's List. I would use them again.

The last time I went there was in October 2013, it cost about eighty six dollars. They tried to diagnose the problems with my car. They were professional but they were unable to figure out the problem so they directed me to the dealership. Otherwise it was a very good experience. I was charged for towing fee and an hour of their time.

Took my 9-year old BMW in for a steering wheel vibration problem. Ended up getting an 100% synthetic oil change, and suspension work on for front end, and a strut/shock replacement for a back end. Work was done quickly, and at a third of the cost (or less) that a BMW dealer would charge. Still needed to take the car to a tire shop for a front end alignment and tire balancing to really fix all the steering vibration, but needed the other work done first. I recommended Detroit Auto Clinic to a number of my co-workers, and all the work done has left people happy with the repair shop.

Their service was fast and friendly and my van works great, so I'm very happy!

I walked in and the guy at the front desk was ringing someone out but it took about 15 minutes for him to do that. He was covering for the person who is usally there. When it was my turn I said I wanted a oil change. It took another 15 minutes for the mechanic to start on my car and then the oil change took about 40 minutes. I don't know why it took so long. The price was fair but I don't know what kind of oil was put in it and I don't think any other fluid were topped off like they do at Jiffy Lube. I would go back for different type of service though.

I was looking for a new mechanic and based on Angie's list reviews I contacted Detroit Auto Clinic for an estimate using their online form on their website. While many auto repair websites have a "contact us" link or an online contact form, I have still not received a reply from most even months later. Detroit Auto Clinic replied with a detailed quote and an estimated time frame for completion within one or two business days. Their quote was 40% less than the exact same work I had done on the passenger's side of the vehicle at the dealership two years ago. 40%!! I dropped the car off and told them I could pick it up in a few days. I was in no rush. It didnt matter to these guys, they had the work completed in less than 24 hours! I WILL take my car back to The Detroit Auto Clinic in the future. They are fast, friendly, professional and the price is fantastic.

I phoned Detroit Auto Clinic LLC a week in advance to schedule repairs for my truck. I gave the list of repairs to be done. I showed up early the morning of my appointment. All the information I gave Gilbert the prior week was precisely recorded in the computer. All repairs were completed by 4:00 pm the same day. I could not be more satisfied with the work, price and professionalism. It is always worrisome to take my vehicle for repairs. You sit and anticipate the cost. This was the best experience I have had with a auto shop. Maybe that is why it is called a clinic.
