Dave's Electric

Dave's Electric completed all the work on time and on budget. Dave and his son were very professional. All the work was neat and clean. We would definitely use them again for any future electrical work.

I called Dave on July 4th and he showed up on the same day, gave me a quote and returned a few days later to perform the work. Dave and Sam not only replaced the box but also organized all the incoming wires to the box to eliminate some unprofessional work that had been done in the past. The work was quickly completed, the work site thoroughly cleaned up. I know the work took longer than estimated but there was no additional charge. In fact my offer to pay an additional amount was declined. This is a professionally run business with high standards that I can highly recommend.

Sam came out and was able to reset the switch and explain why it had stopped working--that type of switch doesn't work with the newer LED and fluorescent bulbs. While he was there, he changed a switch for another ceiling fan from a dimmer to a toggle so that we could use any types of bulbs with it and so that it wouldn't burn out the fan motor. He looked at all of our ceiling fans and reviewed which kinds of bulbs we could use with each one. We have used Dave's Electric for a number of smaller electrical jobs. They always respond quickly and are able to come out promptly. For this job, Sam arrived at my house half an hour after I called him. They do good work at fair prices. It's our go-to electrical repair company.

A pretty extensive job that was handled quickly with professionalism and at a fair price. Sam left the job site immaculate (always the sign of a real pro). These folks are my electricians for life !

Dave came over right away for the estimate. He is very knowledgeable, and he and his son are comfortable working with older homes like ours (University Heights). Sam called me the night before the work was to be done to confirm, and he put in a very long day because of all the work we needed to be completed. Sam was able to wire two new outlets in very difficult areas. He was very pleasant and professional. I am extremely pleased with all the work, and I definitely would use them again.

GREAT! Sam met with us several times and helped us pick out the best security camera system for our home. He installed them and they are working great. He also installed network cable through out our home. The quality of his work was outstanding. It exceeded our expectations. I would definitely use in the future and recommend him to anyone.

He was knowledgeable and meticulous. He installed in our 1931 old home and really did a great job. He left the area spotless. It looks great! I will use them in the future for sure!

We were looking for someone local to assess and repair the damage done by another contractor and Dave came out right away. He was thorough and was able to come up with a workaround where we could avoid trenching in a very tight space and was able to install above ground lines and re-wire our garage to bring it up to current CH code. Dave and his son Sam are the business, no subcontractors. They are the epitome of quality, integrity, professionalism and are just good folks all around. They even left the garage cleaner than when they started the job! I would highly recommend this company for any of your electrical needs and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Dave was rude and surly and although he made an initial visit, and promised to return to do work, he never returned and repeated phone calls with promises to come at some appointed time, he never showed up. I know he has outstanding reviews, but we had a completely negative experience with Dave that delayed us for two weeks in getting the work done.

The job was much more complicated than it should have been as the hood had been installed incorrectly by the original contractors. Sam went out of his way to make it work including going to the hardware store for needed parts. I was very impressed, Sam went above and beyond, and I would absolutely use Dave's Electrical Service again!

Dave or his son always come through for me when I'm in a pinch. He came over when scheduled and assessed the electrical problem that had befuddled me. He didn't take a long time to perform the work and it didn't cost a fortune. This past spring, I asked Dave to do a larger job at my family business. He wasn't available when he promised he would be, so he obtained another electrician in his place to do the work. I was impressed that he went out of his way to make sure the job got done even though he didn't do the work himself. And the alternate electrician did a fine job. Dave's Electric are my go-to electricians.

He identified the problem with our light quickly and repaired it quickly. He educated us on the problem and ways to avoid any further issues.

Explained problem and correct way to restore electricity. Also gave advice regarding project to rewire kitchen. I will use for future probjects.

Davie's said he would be out on a certain day, but he didn't show up. I didn't plan to call him again, but I had trouble finding another electrician, so I called him and left a message. By the time he called back, I told him I had found another electrician to do the job, and expressed my disappointment that he didn't show up the first time. Then the first guy (Time Electric) didn't call like he would. Subsequently, Dave's called out of the blue and asked if he could come out right now to do the job. I said no, and asked if could come out on a day when I would be working at home. He said he would call me that day, but he didn't. So I guess I blew my one chance to have Dave's Electric to come out and do the job. His failure to follow through on a phone call showed a lack of respect toward a potential customer.

Wonderfully. One of Dave's employees arrived within 30 minutes after I called and completed the job within 45 minutes. It was not necessarily an easy job because the house was built in 1920 and the electrical wiring is old and stiff. Additionally, someone had put in the wrong size box before Dave's electrician repaired it. After he was done, it worked perfectly. I was VERY pleased since I was trying to get the place ready for a tenant that needed to move in as soon as possible.

It was easy to make an appointment & he returned necessary calls in short order. He showed up on time & finished the work quickly & efficiently, even under the watchful eyes of my sister & brother-in-law who can cause lesser tradesmen to tremble. I had initially requested TWO separate jobs, but he persuaded me that the second was unnecessary, thereby saving me about 50%. He was clear that he would do the job, had I insisted, but that it was not a critical project. So, all in all, I'd say it went quite well.

Dave did a good job; price was good; Dave responded quickly; always answer the phone.

I recently bought an older home, and as a convert from years of apartment living, I am still on the learning curve for all the things I need to know about my house. I called Dave with a question about possibly needing to change the electric wiring in my house. His schedule was flexible, he was knowledgable and looked at the current wiring, made recommendations for minor changes and advised no major changes, which I thought might be necessary when I originally called him. He took the time to offer additional information and all of it for no charge. I will definitely call him for the changes and if I decide to make any renovations.
