Description of Work: Traded a couple of voicemails with Dave and he was supposed to have called me to schedule a time to come by and give a quote because he was in the middle of a couple of installs but never heard from him again. Went with another company which actually responded and came by when they said they would.

Description of Work: I was looking to have my bathroom counter top replaced using a premium laminate product. I contacted Custom Design Countertops and Dave got back to me the same day to set up an appointment. The counter was installed within 10 days as promised and looks great. Great service and a quality job.

Description of Work: Contacted Dave at Custom Design Countertops and met with him the following day. Were were concerned because we wanted the kitchen countertop to be done in one piece if possible. We had opened part of the kitchen wall into the family room and the counter was 40 inches wide and 120 inches long with some cutouts only 30 inches wide.An unusual configuration for a small galley kitchen. After discussing the design we were pleased to hear that it could be done just the way we wanted it. After new cabinets were installed Dave C.(the project manager) came to the house and did final measurements. He was great and answered all questions. Countertops were done on time and installed by Dave C. They fit perfectly and look fantastic in this small kitchen with the new pass through and one piece counter. Job well done!

David Coughlin managed the project and was very helpful to work with. The countertops were ready quickly and installed at my convenience. The work was well done and the counters look beautiful.

When the initial call was made to the Co., the phone was answered non-professionally, didn't even know if I had reached the right place! Dave's initial response to my inquiry about quartz countertops, was why have you chosen that? It was obvious after he made his visit to our home that he does not do that type of installation and would only be sub-contracting the job out. He should have told me that up front and just given me the name of the company that does that type of work. As we left it, I was to contact them myself anyway! This was not a professional contact in my opinion.
Description of Work: Had Dave out to give us an idea of how to replace our existing counter tops with quartz.

WHEN WE FIRST SET UP THE ESTIMATE TIME WE WERE UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT THE CUSTOMER WANTED SOLID SURFACE. WHEN WE GOT TO THE HOME THE CUSTOMER WANTED A QUOTE FOR QUARTZ COUNTERTOPS, WHICH, AT THE TIME WE DID NOT OFFER. WE RECOMMENDED A SHOP THAT WE DEAL, THAT DOES QUARTZ COUNTERTOPS, TO GET THE CUSTOMER A QUOTE.
