it was excellent, they were on time and did a very careful work. They finished right on schedule and they did the changes that I need to make. They had the job done quickly. I would recommend them to a friend.

Everything was done to our expectations.

I contacted Curb Appeal Painting (Richmond Heights, OH), who also do carpentry work, in June of 2020 to get a garage window replaced and told them I had an October deadline to get it done and they said this was "no problem". They came out in July to measure and to give me a written estimate. I reiterated I needed it done by October and they said they would order the window and it would be no problem. I contacted them by phone several times in September telling them I still had an October deadline, a different person came out to measure, and again was told it was no problem. When October arrived, I called again, and found out that the window actually hadn't been ordered yet. At this point my schedule had changed so I had until November 25 and so they said they ordered the window and it would arrive by November 16. When I called on November 18, they then said the window would not arrive until after November 25. So, I cancelled the order and had to do a makeshift repair of the problem myself. The lack of care on this is just stunning. I contacted them in June for a simple window, they said they would take care of it and it was no problem, and they did not keep their word. And there is no reason this could not have been done by October even with Covid. None at all. I will not use them again or recommend them to anyone.

Short rating: Excellent! Explanation: 1. They let us know that it is their work method is to set aside a block of time to COMPETE the project... not starting a job and going around to other jobs of a day or two. The job is started and is worked on until completed. 2. The crews come equipped and prepared to work each day. Work and control of materials is neat throughout. Crews are knowledgeable about paint formulations for the application, appearance, and durability of the paint. 3. We've lived in our house for more than 40 years and have both hired other painters and painted the house ourselves. This crew was professional from beginning to end and left a house painted thoroughly and neatly.

They provided both excellent work as well as top customer service. They quickly responded to my requests, addressed all my concerns expeditiously, and did top notch work. The crews were pleasant to work with, and the work was done in a timely manner, with complete clean up done at the end of the job. Was hard to find anyone to do the maintenance work, so it was great that they were able to do both the painting and this work as one proposal. Overall was very satisfied

This is the second time we've used Curb Appeal. We have been pleased with the job each time. This is a professional company so maybe a little more costly but I think you get what you pay for. The workers were polite, courteous and conscientious.

Curb Appeal was extremely expedient in providing us with a quote on interior painting and a new roof for our home. Both were a fair price. Mike and Corey did an excellent job painting many rooms and ceilings of our home. They were extremely polite, skilled and reliable throughout the 11 day process. Dave and his roofing crew did a beautiful job with the roof, trim work and gutters in a timely manner. We were very pleased with all of the work and would not hesitate to use them again or recommend their service to a friend or family member. Amazingly Andrew (one of the company's presidents) came out to our home 2 times after providing the initial quote to make sure all of the work completed was to our satisfaction. Great company and service for this day and age. Thanks guys!!!

The Curb Appeal team communicated honestly and constructively with us throughout the project. Our exterior paint job was completed to our satisfaction. Small issues were addressed quickly and without argument. Doug’s crew was accommodating and responsive throughout their three days of work. When I asked them to remove the shutters on Day 1 so that I could paint them (outside their scope of work) and return them for re-installation on Day 3, we worked together to get it done. I would recommend Curb Appeal for any exterior paint job.

Our tired 25 year old kitchen cabinets needed an uplift and we didn't want to the expense of replacing them. So we contacted Curb Appeal. We receive a fair price and decided to go ahead. The process we were told would take 2 to 3 weeks. But even with the bad weather every thing was complete within two weeks. Our painters Mike and Cody did an amazing job and highly professional job. Thank you so much.

We were absolutely amazed at the efficiency, quality, and pride exhibited by the crew assigned to our project. Their original quote presentation was professional and informative. We were provided proof of insurance and the quote came in within $100 of my own estimate. I strongly recommend this company for any painting project.

The Curb Appeal team was outstanding to work with from quote to completion. We had a substantial exterior stain job on our stone and cedar home including some carpentry repair work. We got several quotes over a two year period before we selected Curb Appeal. From the very beginning they were top notch, responding to our request for quote within 24 hours, making several visits to discuss the job and our expectations, and providing a detailed, thoughtful and professional quote with various options to consider. The quote was near the middle of the pack and based on many discussions with five different prominent painters in the area we picked Curb Appeal. The carpentry team (led by Dave) came out first, and they did a fantastic job replacing some rotted wood siding, installing Azek fascia boards behind our gutters and trim (to stop the carpenter bees), etc. They were fast, professional, and friendly. We had lots of weather to work around this summer and DJ (owner) and the carpentry and paint crews were excellent at keeping us informed and getting the job arranged and executed. The paint crew including the lead (Dustin) were also outstanding. Dustin worked closely with us to assess color options and combos, making several trips to the paint shop and painting various test areas so we could make our decision. Once colors were selected, they did their thing over the next couple weeks. Finally, Dustin came out for final inspection and punch list review. We had a few small items which he handled that same day. We couldn't be happier with the end result! In summary, Curb Appeal did a fantastic job from start to finish. Well done DJ, Dustin, Dave and team!

Love these guys. From Andrew to DJ, to Dustin and Mike--they were absolutely great. Their quote was not the cheapest nor the most expensive that I received for this job, and I am so pleased I went with them. They had to do a ton of prep work on my house, and I asked them to use four different colors. My house looks perfect, and I'm so glad to come home to it every day now! It took them about seven days, start to finish, and they cleaned up after themselves every day and were respectful of my neighbors and me. I just cannot recommend them highly enough.

Not the best experience. Did not perform the work as quoted on initial visit. No primer and no crack repair. Had to come back multiple times to correct poor work quality. For the high price, should have been professional painters that didn’t need babysitting. Will not recommend or use again.

I am a repeat Curb Appeal customer. I love working with these guys. Andrew, one of the owners, is so fantastic - available to talk with, reasonable to deal with, helps set expectations properly, and has a great "can-do" attitude. I am also a founding member of the fan club of Doug, one of the crew leads and senior guys. They painted most of the interior of my house early last year and they came back to take care of a couple small things in the fall. They painted the exterior trim around my garage doors, which had been replaced and repaired by my carpenter. They advised on the right timing and techniques to make sure the paint sticks to the pressure-treated lumber. I had an old (likely 20+ year old) crusty can of the trim paint in the basement and Doug took care of getting a fresh new gallon that matches. He made sure the Sherwin-Williams guy did it right before bringing it back to use on my house (it took SW two times to mix properly). They also came through in the clutch by patching up holes in my walls from plumbing work and a prior owner's attempt at insulating (prior owner had covered hole with plywood board instead of repairing the wall) - with a baby on the way and concerns about pests, it was very much appreciated! I have more projects Curb Appeal will be doing this spring.

I hired Curb Appeal to repaint & refresh a kitchen, and wow - I couldn’t be happier with the results! Their staff was attentive to our needs, clean, and did an awesome job. Mike is clearly a master of his craft....his speed and precision was incredible! We will definitely use Curb Appeal again for future needs!

I am so extremely pleased with the work done by Curb Appeal. I did not have an easy job for them to complete. Wallpaper and wallpaper trim removed, brown trim painted to white, 6 rooms and all closets painted, and all interior doors replaced. So much prep work to be done and it was done to exceptional standards. Workers were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Dustin (the lead on my project) communicated all details in a professional manner and was willing to work with me on all aspects and concerns. Their work is worth 10 stars.

Curb Appeal is the best. They have done several interior projects for us over the past year. We have had many tradesmen in the house for a variety of things and few can match the level of professionalism, attention to detail, and just plain decency that Curb Appeal has shown. Both the management and the painters. Andrew has been my main point of contact on the business side. He has been fantastic to work with. Easy to get ahold of, honest in his approach, and extremely patient with my questions and brainstorms. Doug and Fred are senior crew leader-painters who I had the pleasure of running my interior projects. Adding it all up, they've probably spent over a month at my house and we missed them when they left! It is refreshing to see such pride in the work. I aspire to the level painting zen that Doug demonstrates. Watching him work so calmly and precisely is an inspiration -- and he also didn't mind when I stopped over just to admire what he was working on! And I loved "Make it Flat" Fred's focus on clean paint lines and, well, making the plaster flat and even! I've picked up pro tips and tricks from then that have upped my "weekend warrior" game for sure. Our 1920s home, like many of its age, has its challenges. Each one that we've thrown at Curb Appeal was approached with a can-do attitude and executed perfectly. Here are some examples: We had roof-related water damage last fall/winter leave a four-foot oval hole in a ceiling. We fixed the roof and confirmed it was sound, Curb Appeal fixed the ceiling (actually repairing a prior repair attempt!) and it still looks great today. Settling cracks around the house and other imperfections in the plaster were repaired nicely with walls and ceilings looking like they probably did 100 years ago. Our house had many rooms painted in dark colors ranging from burgundy to black (not kidding). You cannot tell today because of the care of the Curb Appeal crew. The team transformed a third floor living area that had been originally been two separate rooms. Prior ceiling damage in one half was repaired by a previous owner with cardboard tile stapled to the lath. After I took it down, Curb Appeal installed drywall, smoothed out all the connections, and got everything so seamless that you can't tell there was ever a problem. They were even able to match the curve/bend of the ceiling as it turns into a wall. Brilliant! Curb Appeal gets the "Profiles in Courage" award for going outside in the snow on one of the coldest days of the year, unscrewing storm windows and taking knife to three patio doors that had been caulked shut 30+ years ago. They the interior sides were painted nicely and they are now fully functional. All of our original living room windows had also been caulked shut. Their in-house carpenters got them opening again. They replaced all the ropes, made sure the weights were moving and lubricated all mechanisms and metal parts. We can now enjoy the breeze! We have many more painting projects and expect to keep using them. Thanks guys! I could write more, but I think you've got the picture. These guys are tops. As a result, they are popular so you need to be patient and plan ahead.

I had been using Curb Appeal Painting to do all of my house painting for years. This was the first time I need to test their warranty. Within the two year warranty period the area of the house they were hired to repair again leaked and caused interior damage. When I asked them to repair under warranty, I was given an excuse that the leak was caused by forces they did not fix. They did not substantiate their irrelevant claim nor did they return calls or emails. Bottom line is this is a company that does not honor their contracts or warranty. Buyer beware!

Exceptionally well.....the house looks great....i wasnt sure if I wanted to change color so Doug put 3or4 different shades on the barn so I could decide...everyone was accommodating to my questions or concerns.....I have already recommended them to several people.

We hired Curb Appeal Painting to paint the exterior of our home. We could not be happier with our experience! Everyone was extremely polite and helpful. Jesus, the on site crew leader, was really easy to work with and very knowledgeable. They arrived very early and stayed late, worked very efficiently, always cleaned up their mess, and did an amazing job. We would definitely hire again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for house painting!

To use a basketball metaphor, they were way down at the half but went all out and it was a big win in overtime. We used Curb Appeal because of their great reviews on this site, a competitive quote, and the ability to start the job and get it done before the end of March. In fact, they called and asked to start a week earlier, which was fine since I work from home. Job was originally supposed to start on a Monday and finish up that Friday or the following Monday completely. On the 2nd day, the lead painter had to leave with a bad back at about 10am. The other guy left with him because it was his truck and no one returned that day. So that was one day lost, which was understandable, and I was fine with the job finishing a day later. When the lead guy came back the next day with his partner, he said they would definitely finish by Monday and that a 3rd guy would be there. There were 3 guys working, but rarely all 3 at once. Lead guy changed his estimate to Tuesday. Anyway, on Friday there was one guy left in the afternoon and he was out of there by 3:30, never letting us know he was leaving. The family room was "finished" but the walls were streaky, there were areas on the ceiling that were missed, and the furniture which had been covered with plastic was now exposed and covered with a thick coating of dust. There was also a bottle of Sprite left open on a desk, and other areas were in various stages of incompleteness. It was obvious that Tuesday was not going to happen. My husband called Andrew, and that's when everything turned around. On Monday there were 9 guys here including Andrew (one of the owners) working. They cleaned, repainted the family room, and did everything else that we had asked. They did not rush, and made sure everything was done right. They even had a carpenter come in to hang a set of vertical blinds that they couldn't get on. Pat, one of the painters, had noticed an area of our hardwood floors that wasn't meeting the wall and we had the carpenter fix that and do some other things as well for a small extra charge. He did a great job. They finished on Wednesday. As I told Andrew, I have to judge the company on how they did with correcting the situation and the end product. And they did really well, thus the A.

The customer service was outstanding. They called prior to job starting confirming timing and date. Once job started they were very accommodating to our schedule and even worked late and on the weekend to get the job completed. The team even went above an beyond and polished the handles/ hinges on our cabinets when we discussed only cleaning them. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have painting done. As a side note, I contacted 3 other Angie List companies, one of them showed up late and then took 3 days to get me a quotation. One gave us pricing that much more than Curb Appeal and the last showed up, but never bothered to quote the job, never heard from him again. Curb Appeal showed up on time to quote, called prior to coming and supplied a quotation in less than 24 hours.

Overall very well. They could have done better at keeping dust contained but did clean up when finished
