COUNTERTOP SOLUTIONS

I am writing to share my deeply devastating experience with Countertop Solutions. After hiring them for a countertop installation, we encountered multiple issues, beginning with a lack of upfront disclosure about the limitations of the countertop material we selected. The company never informed us that our chosen slab wasn't available in a size large enough to ensure a seamless look. This only became evident after installation when we noticed a large gap caused by the countertop being cut too short. The installation itself was riddled with problems. The seam was poorly executed, leaving an unsightly gap filled with an unsuitable material. Our cabinets were damaged, the installed sink was stained and scratched, and the faucet had a visible gap not shown in any of the product images. To make matters worse, we have now discovered discoloration around the edges of the countertop, further indicating material defects or poor installation. Due to these issues, we had to hire another company to replace the countertop, resulting in an additional expense of over $7,400. When we requested a refund, Max, the owner, claimed that the company does not provide refunds. However, we discovered evidence that contradicts this policy, as other dissatisfied customers have received refunds in the past. In light of these numerous issues and the lack of customer service, I strongly advise anyone considering Countertop Solutions to think twice before using their services.

Service was good, price was better than others in the area. Product arrived timely and was cut properly. No complaints.

When we decided to redo our kitchen, we went to the Countertop Solutions store on Detroit Rd in Westlake due to its proximity to our condo in Rocky River. The lady there was very professional and knowledgeable. She helped us pick out the materials and color for our new countertop to make sure it would fit within our budget, and go with the paint scheme and flooring we had previously selected. She scheduled the work and served as our point of contact until the job was completed. Everyone involved was really good at their respective job: the aforementioned sales lady, the technician who did the initial measurements, the craftsmen behind the scenes who molded and created our new countertop and installed the designer sink in it, the men who removed the old countertop, put the new one in and hauled the old materials off, and the plumber who installed the new faucet and disposal we provided. Everything came together nicely, with no issues or last minute problems. We got exactly what we wanted, and are extremely happy with the results. The new countertop fits perfectly and looks great. I went over the whole thing and literally could not find one nick, flaw or imperfection in it. Everyone who sees it comments on how nice it looks. We are totally satisfied with the work Countertop Solutions performed for us, and would recommend them without any reservations whatsoever.
