We were having problems with our furnace clicking on for a cycle and then it would click on immediately again and blow cool air. It started doing this randomly at first and then finally it started doing it pretty much continually. I had noticed an increase in my past electric bill and knew that something was wrong. We Contacted Consolidated early on a Thursday morning and was told we would be serviced that afternoon. We were notified prior to arrival, and they arrived punctually. The furnace was diagnosed, repaired, and back up and running within 20 minutes. The technician was informative and welcomed my many questions. We discussed future projects, and a very reasonable estimate was also delivered. 60.00 later I was very satisfied with the service we received and with the knowledge and ability of the technician (Dennis). We are excited to start our next project, defiantly going to use Consolidated and would be very comfortable recommending them to anyone for their own HVAC needs.
Description of Work: Our furnace stopped heating enough to keep the home warm, and the blower continued to run nearly nonstop. A quick diagnosis that the burner was going out as soon as the blower started was determined a sensor was bad. A thermocouple was not operating as it should have, an attentive cleaning and light sanding easily restored the furnace function without requiring a replacement part.
