I purchased the Big Deal for the Comprehensive Home Energy Audit from Comfort MD on 01/17/14. I received a message shortly thereafter stating that someone would contact me to set up an appointment. I offered service dates when I submitted my order as well. No one called me. The big deal said someone would contact me before Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014. No one did. I waited until Jan. 23, 2014 left a message, no response. I waited and then called again on Jan. 27, 2014 and left another message. My last call was January 27, 2014 and I still have not heard from them. I would like my money back.

What they did was fine. They were supposed to do a thermal imaging but because the weather was warm, they were unable to do that. They were supposed to call me back to reschedule, but they didn't. They also didn't ask me before putting the advertising sign on our lawn. Service should not be performed unless all the services could be performed depending on weather.

Overall great experience. Professional and thorough, would highly recommend and use again.

The salesman and the workers were great did a good job. It took three days which I know was abvoe the estimate but the bill was what was agreed to. The guys cleanrd up after themselves and respected my home.

There was no contact and service was not provided. Will appreciate if the service could be provided or money refunded.

This was an excellent experience. I called the company on Monday, set the appointment for today. The very nice, helpful serviceman explained exactly what he was going to do to the furnace. Explained what I needed in the future, provided a quote for a water heater. My past experience with licensed contractors has led me to believe that they try to sell customers things that they don't need. This was totally different. Guess I found my new HVAC company :)

Indicated some additional work that needed to be done.

I am selling my house and no longer live there. I had to have the furnace cleaned and checked and also have the exhaust leading out of the hot water tank repaired per the City of Euclid. I schedualed the service for December 23 from 12pm - 2pm. I drove 30 minutes to go sit in my vacant house and waited till 2pm. I called the company and asked when they would be arriving. The receptionist Kelly stated she would call her guy and that he was on a job still. I played phone tag with Kelly for an hour before she told me that she could not get a hold of her guy because he was in a basement. Kelly rescheduled me for a week later. She also told me I would get 25% off the labor for the pipe that needed replaced. I thanked her and asked her if the manger could call me. She stated he was out of the office today but he could call the following day. Well a week went on and I never heard from the manager. When the repairman showed up the following week he was great. He cleaned the furnace and fixed the hot water tank exhaust pipe per Euclid City's instructions. I was very impressed with him and his work. After all was said and done, the repairman gave me the total bill. I asked him if anything was said about the 25% off discount for my inconvenience the previous week. He stated he was never told that but that he would call Kelly. Kelly told him they could only give me 15% off the labor. Since nothing was in writing, I accepted it and moved on with life. I would recommend this company as long as they can give you an honest time that they will show up. Not showing up for an appointment then rescheduling the appoint a week out is not cool!

The service was confusing, but it was OK. I thought it was going to be just an inspection of the house. But it turned out that they had to contract somebody else to do the inspection. It was fine, it was just confusing. The guy that came and did the home inspection was actually from the energy company here in Akron. So it wasn't even anybody from whoever those people were.

used Angie's list big deal. all went well. professional and took appropriate time to check all components.

On August 3rd, I purchased a home energy audit from ComfortMD. Upon purchase an auto generated email said somebody would contact me within three days. This did not happen. On 8/26, I sent an email to ComfortMD and received a response that day apologizing for the delay and again stating somebody would contact me soon. On 9/8, I sent another email asking for a contact number so we could get our promotion scheduled. In mid October, I spoke to the company and thought I scheduled an appointment for them to perform the audit. The contact person said she was not sure if they had the time available and would call me if it would not work out. I did not receive another phone call and assumed they would be here at the scheduled time. Nobody showed up and after calling the company they again said somebody would follow up with me and no one ever did. Overall this has been a frustrating experience due to the lack of poor communication and inability to adequately schedule.

I purchased the Big Deal for Comfort MD.

Great work - timely, excellent pricing, great attention to details.

Joe did a good job cleaning and checking the furnace, and told us that the humidifier had to be changed/fixed because it wasn't working properly. He said they would call back to us, and today Dec 4 I had to call them back. They will come next week. Good job, but bad after service experience. They apologized, but they must be more careful about those things. Other than that, I recommend their work.

Vince came over to my parents house - got busy right away and went around the whole house. He found a number of places that need to be weatherized, and even did some caulking himself. Then he printed up a very extensive report and went over it with us.

Gave us a written report as to what we needed to do to repair any of the air leaks. Also gave us a list of places to call to do the work.

Lee's business conduct was disappointingly unprofessional. Follow-up for tentative work schedules was non-existent. My numerous phone calls were rarely returned and even his "office staff" had no access to his whereabouts or his work schedule. More than once I was left hanging just 24 hours prior to a work date with no phone call and no confirmation of his plans. Based on the other evals on Angie's List, I assume his actual skilled work is top notch. However, based on my protracted and frustrating experience, I found him to be unreliable and disorganized. I would definitely not recommend his company for any work.

Since it was getting cold, I requested their earliest appointment. It was scheduled for the following Friday(approx one week). The lady who scheduled the appt was very friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, when the appt arrived, the technician was a no call no show. I called them and they apologized and rescheduled for Monday. The scheduler said she had a problem with the computer system. The Monday appt went will. The tech fixed the problem quickly and professionally. Everyone I dealt with from the company was nice, but a no call, no show, is inconvenient.

Left several messages and voice mails. Vendor's only response was "you will receive a scheduling call in a couple days." It's been a month now, called vendor today who blamed Angie's List.

They were on time, very pleasant and honest. We thought we might have to replace a furnace, but they suggested changing a part for now. They have now changed the part at the quoted price. They are very nice to work with and I would definately use them again.

It worked out pretty good. They needed a little bit of lead time to schedule it but they did just fine of the job. All of my interactions with them were good. They recommended some other service and I purchased that as well.

1I had a lot of trouble getting the appointment set up. 2 they went to my old house and not the address I wanted the audit done at. 3 They did do an audit and said they would send me a detailed report,which I'm still waiting on.

It went very well. He was clean, professional, and the information he provided was educational. In addition, he warned me when his inspection might leave a little bit of a mess. My home is a newer home so he didn't have a whole lot in the way of recommendations for the home. But that was totally fine. I just really needed the reassurance that our house was optimized for energy efficiency. In addition, I got a few freebies which I wasn't anticipating such as low flow covers which he installed in three sink faucets and a low flow shower head that he installed in one bathroom. Also I was given the option of getting my $50 back once I implemented one of his recommendations or a carbon monoxide detector.

Comfort Md was excellent. We were able to be scheduled in 2 days. The repairman arrived at the scheduled time. He replaced a part that we already had on hand, cleaned and replaced the filter. He was very personable. He explained what he did answered any questions we had. He put protective covers on his shoes, Neat, clean, professional. I will use this company again.
