COIT Cleaning and Restoration of Cleveland

Coit has been cleaning my carpets since we moved in in 2004. We usually call them in August and January when they have their 40% off sale (since those are their slowest months). The workers are professional and get the job done. The move the furniture and put it on stryofoam blocks off the carpet. Once when a stain "came back" after the carpet dried, they returned and cleaned it for free in a day or two.

It went extremely well, Jim was on time and did a great job.........and the price was right.

The best thing was they really did a very good job. They moved all the furniture and we didn’t have to do any of the work. The employees were very friendly. Their price was reasonable. It was a little bit above average. I think they did an exceptionally good job. They cleaned carpets that were in five rooms and a stairs. The quality of their work was good. They were responsive and very professional. They were here on time. They were here when they said they would be here. I will probably get them back again in the spring maybe in a month or two.

Professional over phone, given prompt appointment. Workmen arrived on time, worked efficiently, performed work as agreed. They were polite and did not leave a mess when they left.

They are very easy to work with. The estimator came out first. They call ahead of time and arrive on time. The workers are extremely professional, courteous, and thorough. They did an amazing job getting a nicotine stained couch to look almost new. The carpet looked brand new when they were done with it. They got rid of every stain. There prices were also very reasonable.

Coits is a big operation. They are really professional. I have used them in the past, now it's been several years. They have been doing a surprisingly good job. I get the carpet cleaned every once in a while and I usually call them. The house has beige carpets, so they usually get dirty. I usually get it done by them. I have used them thrice earlier.

I was very, very upset with these people. I was upset with what they did with my credit card. They used the old slide through credit card machine and my whole credit card number was on the paper instead of the last four digits. I talked to the guy about it because if either they or myself lose the receipt somebody has my credit card number. He said it wasn't him and that he just leased it or something like that. I found out later that he owned it. I told him that it wasn't right. I had nothing bad to say about the work. I'm not going to use them again.

They came out and gave me an estimate and we went from there. Initially I had a huge problem. They took a custom-made bedspread and rather than dry cleaning it they put it in their washing machine. I had matching draperies so I was upset. They came out and showed me a fabric. I selected a replacement fabric and they had a new bedspread new drapery made for me. I was really impressed that they were willing to stand up to the mistake. They were willing to go above and beyond to make it right. They sent a professional out to measure and make it for me. They apologized for the mistake they did. They are very professional. They absolutely come when they say they will. They give a free estimate. They come back and install things.

The man who gave us the estimate took down the drapes that were going to be taken away for cleaning. He also took the oriental rug with him. The cleaning of the carpeting and drapes (that were cleaned "in place") was performed the next day. The men who did the carpet and drapery cleaning were efficient and courteous. They wore ID badges. They moved the furniture that had to be moved, and then they put it back in place after the carpeting was cleaned. They put pieces of cardboard underneath the legs of the furniture. The next day (after the carpeting had dried) we noticed a few large ripples in the hallway outside the bathroom door on the 2nd floor. We called Coit the following week to report the problem. They sent out a man who agreed that the ripples were indeed rather large. He contacted another company (with whom they subcontract and who has experience in carpet stretching) and made arrangements to have the carpeting stretched at a later date. That person came out last Friday. The carpeting was stretched to our satisfaction and the job is now complete.

Wanted information on cost of air duct cleaning. Office insisted that someone would need to come out and examine home -count heating ducts and return air vents to give accurate estimate Salesman arrived on time, surveyed home and gave estimate. Salesman was very polite and professional. I was surprised that the price minus the 35% discount was still in the $500 range. I decided not to have the service done.

We were having some new windows installed and arranged with Coit to pick up our drapes for cleaning prior to the windows being installed. We left the shades on since the window installers were going to reposition the mounting brackets for the shades. Once the windows were installed, Coit returned our drapes and picked up the shades for cleaning.----They were very cooperative to meet our needs by performing their services according to our desires and timing. Once the shades were cleaned, they returned and mounted them. We are very pleased with the results of the cleaning and are very greatfull and pleased that Coit performed the services the way we wanted the items removed and returned in coordination with the windows being installed. This allowed us to have some privacy by only removing and cleaning one set of window dressing at a time, throughout the project--which started about Nov 22nd and finalized Dec 13th

We obtained an estimate on December 1st, the work was started the next day and completed early the following day. The high temperature/high pressure equipment they used on the tile and grout did an amazing job. The cleaning, renewal, and sealing of the grout also made our 14 year old tile floors look new. The salesperson was professional and explained exactly what was to be done. The service people were friendly, experienced, and worked very hard and paid attention to detail. They covered their shoes with plastic baggies while working and did all the work of moving furniture back and forth. The price of the work was higher than I would have liked (when isn't it), but the job was extremely well done. I will use Coit again for our cleaning needs.

They did a fine job. The person who came out was very good and personable. I thought of using someone else for the duct cleaning. They did good work, but I found better prices online. I am happy with the ductwork. They charged a little over $600 for the rest of the work. They estimated a little over $600 for the ductwork. I think the ductwork could be done for $400. So there was a big difference.

Having just bought our house, we called Coit to clean some carpets and area rugs before our furniture arrived. (Rooms without furniture are discounted.) Two Coit employees arrived on the morning of the appointment to provide an estimate - a trainee and a more experienced person. We showed them the areas we were thinking of having cleaned. The experienced estimator was quick to point out that our lower level looked fine the way it was, and he advised against spending the money on a cleaning, which really impressed us. The trainee prepared the estimate, which was checked by the senior estimator. We accepted it and signed the estimate, but just as they were about drive away, I noticed an error in the square footage of a closet. I ran out and pointed out the error, which they promptly corrected. (The take home lesson is always check the numbers!) The work was done that same day, and we were happy with the professionalism of the service person and with the results. We also had two area rugs picked up for cleaning that same day. The rugs were delivered about a week later, as promised. (The delivery was a bit past the end of the expected time slot, but to his credit the delivery man called to let us know he would be late.) Overall, we felt Coit did a great job, and we would not hesitate to recommend them.

Both Chuck and Paul were very nice and professional. They took their time to clean everything properly, but they were efficient at the same time. I appreciated that they vacuumed the carpets and furniture before they cleaned them. That might be why Coit is more expensive than other carpet cleaners. It really makes a difference and I didn't mind paying extra because the carpets are really clean. The only thing I didn't like was when my neighbor asked Chuck about cleaning his carpets and Chuck went over there to give them an estimate on my time. When he came back, I said something about it and Chuck just said that he would be finished upstairs much sooner than Paul who was downstairs cleaning most of the furniture. In that case, he could have gone over to my neighbor's after he cleaned my upstairs. Regardless, I was happy with the cleaning job.

The workman are courteous and they always do a professional job at a reasonable price.

It went well. They came out, gave me a quote and came back. They were very thorough and they did what they said they were going to do in a timely fashion. We were very happy.

terrible experience. They did not call before as they indicated they would early in the morning. we turned down their inflated price and went with our usual carpet cleaner.

Very happy. They were very pleasant. Very efficient. Showed up when they said they would. Cleaned up years and years of dirt and smoke damage.

Arrived promptly for the estimate. (note: made a big push to have heating vents cleaned, which I did not want, but the salesperson did take "No" for an answer without a high pressure response). Provided detailed estimate; removed drapery, curtains, blinds. Someone from Coit called to ask permission to use various cleaning methods on drapes/curtains, which were showing aging and might not hold up to some processes) Held cleaned drapes for me for two weeks until I had a day off. Rehung drapes with care and concern. Mr. Xavier was thoughtful and polite. He took his time and was very professional. Overall, a little pricey, but convenience and quality of work was very good.

I think it went well over all. This was the first time we had our ducts cleaned and didn't know what to expect. The only reason I did not give them an A rating was because I have no basis for comparison for the quality of work or the price. They charged us exactly what our estimate called for, the cleaner was professional, and did his job quickly and efficiently. We have no reason to be unhappy with the work.

They did a good job, but they left the carpet damp and a little too wet. It took longer to dry than it should have. It was an inconvenience to have the carpet wet for so long. It is clean and it looks nice. I don't care for the moisture they left in the carpet. They were professional. The guy accidentally broke a picture frame on the wall, but they said they would replace it. They had a coupon but they charge the highest amount, so it wasn't such a big deal. There was only person that came out to do the work so it took longer.

It was fair. I don't think everything that needed to be done was done. The air quality was better after but I just didn't feel they were quite trustworthy.

The staff is very good. The work they did was OK.
