Coach Electric

David "Coach" Kochis and his company Coach Electric performed exceptional, excellent service from beginning to end. He was very professional in all areas. When it came to customer service he was very prompt and courteous when returning phone calls, kept to his schedule and provided quality service. His knowledge and expertise with regard to his field were evident. While completing the job, he discovered some electrical work that was not up to code and he included correcting them as part of the job. We were very satisfied with the job he completed for us. My experience was fantastic. They got to the house at 9AM on a Friday and stayed until 7PM to get everything done. They were punctual, neat, quiet (I work from home) and thorough. In addition to all the new wiring they added, they also removed all of the previous wiring that was no longer needed. I absolutely plan to use them for all my future electrical needs as we continue to remodel our house.

Went well, work didn't take long. Company was on time for the appt.

Put in gfci outlets and changed exposed wires in house. Also added 6 prong electrical outlet and special outlet for computer.

Dave was great! Price was reasonable. We did feel it was fair for the amount of work we needed to have done. He was punctual and the job took EXACTLY as long as he said it would. Him and his crew was polite, and pleasant to have around the home. And they were quiet!! I barely knew they were here. No blaring radio or rowdy behavior. These guys were completely professional and polite. (I wish all my contractors were like this!) What was really nice was that he handled everything. He took care of the permit with the town. He followed up in the end and HE scheduled the inspector to come inspect the work, AND he was present for the inspection every step of the way. All the way around, we were completely pleased with job. We have additional work that we need and we will definitely be calling him back!

David responded to our call in a timely manner, arrived on time, was professional, made good suggestions, did neat work.Will have him back to install outdoor lighting on out patio.

After contacting other electricians that I found on Angie's List I went with Coach because he was very quick to answer his phone and to answer my questions and to paint a complete picture of how much work needed to be done and why. Originally, I needed my residence to be wired with 220 so I could run my dryer. I learned that the house had a very old and dangerous circuit breaker panel (Federal Pacific... Google it!). Coach adjusted his quote, it was cheaper than anyone else, then he did the work fast (within 3 days). Overall, I will definitely call Coach back if I need more work!

It was as advertised. It took very little time.

Electrical services, like many services in Shaker, are like finding and seeing a medical specialist -relying on word of mouth and patience. Most were booked out several weeks just for estimates. That said, Mr. David Kochis was the first out and first to estimate and came a day earlier than scheduled with his crew to install the upgrades. In particular, his work in my office which involved some snaking and drilling and routing of ground cable was done with minimal impact on my work space. His crew left the house as they found it and the bill came below the estimate! So pleased that I have asked Mr. Kochis back to install some lighting.

Dave and his assistant Phil were top notch. First, Dave was prompt when responding on the initial call for an estimate.Second, Dave was flexible as I had to change my electrical requirements several times. Additionally he offer very good suggestions that worked well to enhance the end result.Third, Dave arrive on the day he identified and treated the project as if it was his own home-meaning he had care and concern to make sure he delivered quality services. Finally, the end result was fantastic! Dave and Phil worked like a well oiled machine. Completing the project on time and within budget. Additionally, they inspected other areas I needed addressing and made additional recommendations at no cost.They will be invited back for more electrical work!

David was extremely responsive and came within a few days to give us an estimate and followed up with an appointment for the installation. He was on time, professional and very reasonable. The outlet works great - thank you David!

I called Coach Electric on a Tuesday to see if there was any time within the next week or two that some small repairs could be made at my house (which is for sale). Dave returned my call immediately and made the appointment for Saturday of that same week. He was able to complete all of the repairs (replacing two bathroom outlets with GFCI outlets, and grounding the water meter) in a timely fashion. I was extremely pleased with the quality of work as well as Dave's responsiveness and willingness to work on my projects on a Saturday so that I would not have to worry about the VA appraiser coming to inspect the house before the repairs had been completed. I wish all contractors were as delightful to work with as Dave - Coach Electric!

The power to our basement bathroom went out with a ground-short problem and since the bathroom has an up-flush toilet, the problem needed fixed quickly. I left a message with David in the morning and he called back within the hour. He said he could stop later in the day and he arrived on time. He and his associate Phil inspected the up-flush toilet mechanism behind the removable drywall to make sure it had not caused the GFI outlet to trip and even though the GFI did eventually reset, they made sure everything else was checked out back to the breaker. This pretty much put the fault in the GFI outlet itself and David gave me the option to replace it or not. I chose to replace it. After making sure everything was working properly, they put the drywall panels back up and cleaned-up, the entire visit taking less than an hour. I was impressed with their knowledge and how they quickly targeted the root cause. I would recommend Coach Electric to anyone.

Called Dave on a Monday morning and he agreed to meet me at the house at 6 that afternoon. He was on time and immediatly went to work on the fuse box eliminating the double taps. He had the parts with him and installed and rewired the box immediately. I would not hesitate to recommend Dave to anyone that needs electrical work.

I called this company the day before Christmas Eve because our old chandelier in the dining room wasn't turning on and the dimmer was no longer working. I called several electricians listed on Angie's list and left messages explaining that I need someone to install a chandelier asap since we were having Christmas dinner at our house. David from Coach Electric called me back shortly after receiving my message and was willing to install the chandelier that night. It was already 6 p.m. and we did not have a fixture to install at that time. He was willing to come out to the house at 8:30 p.m. that night to install the fixture so we would have some time to go to the store and buy one. He quoted us $75.00 to install the chandelier and dimmer. He told us exactly what we needed to buy. We decided to buy a matching hallway light fixture while at the store. David arrrived on time. He assembled the chandelier and installed it quickly. We asked him if he could install the hallway fixture as well. He gave us a break and installed the hallway fixture at no additional cost. He cleaned up the mess after he was finished. David was very friendly. We are so happy with the job. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs electrical work. He also gave us an estimate on three recessed lights for our basement at $110 each which is a lot less than others have quoted to us recently.

I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly he was able to perform the job. Very professional person.

From the call to the completion it was a very easy process. I work days so he was able to come over in the evening. Took about an hour and 1/2.

I had planned to call Dave at a future time but he called me. We played phone tag a bit until I had time to meet with him. The job took about a half hour and he didn't even have to cut my power. The installation went off without a hitch, it looks good and I have the device's warranty.

After our experience with Coach, we wish we had called them 2 years ago when we first bought our house. This company was very responsive -- we had not only a reasonable quote; the entire job was completed within a week of our first call to them. They performed the work as agreed while we were away with the kids on a class field trip. When we came home a little early these professionals were cleaning up after themselves, no mess for me to vacuum up. We received our invoice by mail a few days after the service and it was accurate to their quote. Coach kept us informed during the entire process, performed the job as promised, and stuck to their quote. You won't regret hiring them for your next electrical project at your house, and you will probably also wish you had hired them sooner.

It went better than I'd hoped. Professional and knowledgeable. David did a great job and there were no issues at all. The final price fell within 5% of the estimate, which was fine with me.

He performed the services in a prompt and timely manner. He is was very professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. He did such a fantastic job that he will continue using Coach Electric for our future projects.

Excellet- Dave identified the problem quickly and made the necessary adjustments. Checked everything before he left and everything was working well.

David, the Coach Electric representative who installed the surge protector, was professional, punctual and thorough. I asked was his calling card and will contact him for future electronic work that I may need.

We left Dave a message late Saturday afternoon and he came to fix the problem on Sunday morning. It was a loose electrical connection and he diagnosed and fixed the problem very quickly. He is very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. In this hot, humid weather, we were very grateful that he came by as quickly as he did.

Extremely responsive. Dave came out the same day I called and immediately performed the necessary work. He was friendly but professional. He obviously has a lot of experience and knows his trade. We will be using Dave again for electrical work.
