My furnace stopped working Sunday night, Dec 30. I called Dana at Cleveland Comfort Solutions. He is my "go to" man for my furnace service. Even though it was a holiday weekend & he was not feeling well, Dana came right over to see if he could fix the furnace as it was very cold. He finally determined the problem was not the actual furnace, but was caused by a blockage in my chimney. When he removed a couple of the flue pipes, debris came falling out. For safety reasons, we also had to shut down the water heater. Dana said I needed to get the chimney cleaned ASAP. So here I am on New Year's Eve day in a 48 degree house trying to get someone to come out to clean my chimney so I could have heat & hot water. Was also worried about pipes freezing if not fixed. I printed the list of chimney cleaners from Angie's List & started calling. As this was the holiday, I realized my chances were slim. I did receive callbacks but no one was able to come out the same day. It is now early afternoon & I am very discouraged & wondering what to do. My phone rings & it is Gary Crispin from a chimney cleaning company calling me back! I explained my situation to Gary & although he was on a job in Bainbridge & had New Year's plans, he agreed to come to Parma & clean out my chimney. It is now a little past 3:00 New Years Eve. I call Dana back to let him know the chimney is clear, hoping he will be able to come back to reconnect my furnace & water heater. And bless him, even though he is still not feeling well, he comes over within the hour! Dana reconnected the pipes, patched the chimney & restarted the furnace & water heater. My furnace works better than ever! I am very appreciative of Dana's perseverance in diagnosing the original problem, his thoroughness in fixing my heating system & his willingness to help me out in a very stressful situation. They checked the furnace and found the problem very quickly. They replaced the part and had the heat on in 45 minutes. They even checked the CO levels after the work was completed.

He was very professional, prompt and explained in detail all the repairs needed and cost. Price was reasonable and I would recommend them to a friend or family member.

The technician was very prompt and curteous. He actually arrived a bit earlier than expected, which is a good thing. He is knowledgable and possesses a great work ethic. Seeing as I contacted them at 10:30 am and they were able to fit me in and have the repair done by early afternoon, I am very pleased with the outcome.

They were only supposed to be there for an hour, and they were there for four hours. They treated my home like they would treat their own home. I kept forgetting to give this company a review. The owner came and cleaned and got it ready for the winter. He arrived when he said he would; was curtious and neat in his apprearance which is very important to me. I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs work done. I will be using them in the future. I forgot the date and the price.

On the strength of other Angie's List reviews, I phoned Cleveland Comfort Solutions regarding my AC system, which was not cooling and was making an intermittent loud vibrating noise. Naturally, this happened on a record-breaking, steamy-hot Cleveland summer day! Dana returned my call within minutes, and arrived at my house--on time--approx. 4 hours later. He thoughtfully offered to remove his shoes before proceeding to the basement. Finding no problem inside, he checked the condenser in the backyard and found that a burned-out wire had scorched the dual capacitor, resulting in no cooling. He replaced the dual capacitor and repaired the wire. The job took about 1/2 hour. Problem solved. Dana didn't try to sell me any arbitrary or unneeded work, performing only the repairs that were necessary to fix the problem and extend the life of my AC system. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again for AC or furnace repairs; he's a pleasure to recommend!

This is why you use Angie's List. Heat went out late on a cold Friday night...made it through the night with space heaters. Called Dana @7:30am. He was on route to another call when I talked to him. He said he would stop by right after around 11-12. He called around 10:30am to let me know he was on his way and was here by 11am. It is an older furnace (30+ years old) so we were a bit worried it might be a large repair. However, Dana was able to quickly diagnose that it was just the thermo-coupler that had gone bad. He replaced it with one from his truck. In the process of repair/testing Dana also noticed a VERY slow gas leak in the furnace and repaired that as well. Dana also noticed that the flames were not as hot as they should be and cleaned the burners. He was extremely knowledgeable, honest and professional. You felt like it was a relative who really cared about you as he wanted to make sure everything was 100% ok before he left. His pricing was also extremely fair, especially considering the fact this was a weekend service call. We will likely have Dana back to replace the furnace as well.

I am posting this well after the service was performed, but I am doing so to give this service provider a good review. I have had other A/C contractors and none were as thorough or detailed with the check-up. While Dana ran a bit late for the appointment, he notified me and kept me posted of his schedule so that I was not waiting and wondering when he would arrive. I was very pleased with the price of the inspection and check-up. I do not recall exactly how much it was, but the charge was very competitive. I recall that it was a special deal and well worth it. He was extremely professional and clearly very knowledgeable about A/C and clearly interested in educating the consumer on how to take care of the system. I would highly recommend his service.

They were very competent. He also gave me info that was useful. Nothing was negative about the work.

My AC never got checked out and serviced. He never came back to complete the AC unit like he said he would.

He came promptly and was very courteous and professional. He started my heat up again and told me exactly why it had failed. He then told me the exact part I needed to prevent the problem from happening again. Since I was selling my house in another week, I didn't have it done, but if I was keeping the house, his price was so fair I would've done it. I even had a chatty friend over at the time who kept trying to get Dana's advice on her personal problems and he was very polite to her. He's a true professional who excels at his job and does so with honesty and integrity. He doesn't try to sell you parts you don't need or pressure you. Dana arrived at my home right on time. I'm a first time homebuyer and wanted my furnace inspected and serviced. Dana went over and beyond his duties. He found some loose pipes and gas leaks that he repaired and even checked my hot water tank. He replaced wires, adjusted my gas pressure and cleaned my furnace. He spent half a day there and didn't charge me extra. Dana even went home and grabbed one of his extra filters from his own furnace and dropped it off at my house. He came back the next day to drop off some more filters that I ordered. Dana treated my furnace like it was his own. Really impressed by his service and will be using him twice a year. Highly recommend his services.

Dana was very professional and polite. He explained everything in detail. The part that his supplier had given him to fix the furnace was the wrong part. Dana returned to the supplier and came back to our house that same evening to fix the furnace. He had it up and running quickly. Dana gave us some other furnace operation/maintenance tips while he was at our house - this information was unsolicited but very helpful. Throughout the process Dana kept us informed and called us to let us know when he would be arriving (both times). We were happy with his service.

He diagnosed something that I didn’t even have him come and look at. He gave me a really good deal of fixing it and I could have had a dangerous leak in my furnace and he has found it. He was outstanding. He put the booties on so that he wouldn’t mess up my house. He was cordial, gracious. He explained everything and showed me everything where there was a problem. They sprayed something and if there was a leak it bubbled up and showed me everything he did. It was nice. Usually everyone say this is wrong and it would cost this much but he showed me everything. He was very thorough. He was well informed about his craft and took a lot of pride in it. He was interested in my understanding what he had done for the service.

Really well. Dana was punctual, professional and efficient. He was able to check out the humidifier on the same day as I called. He completed the work with minimum fuss or disturbance. Over all, I couldn't have asked for a better service.

We received an initial estimate from another vendor for replacing a furnace for a rental property, and considering the seasonal schedule they were unable to start work until the end of November. After getting two more estimates we settled on CCS -- they had the lowest price, quickest turnaround and were very thorough in their estimate. Dana was very responsive and provided excellent customer service. He and his team did a great job and went above and beyond our expectations. Considering the tentant's unit would have been without heat, he ensured that the replacement was done with high priority in a timely manner.
