He was quick and got the job done.

Dana was the service provider on this call. He arrived on time, offered an appropriate greeting and introduction and was ready to get to work. During his service to the furnace, I remembered that I had purchased two years ago a digital thermostat that was never installed. He was agreeable to install that as well. I am sure he spent more time in the house than he had planned, several hours, but worked without concern or complaint. He cleaned up the area after his work was complete. He was professional, thorough and friendly. Highly recommend. He was far superior to the big company I used had previously. He will be my provider from now on. I will recommend him to others.

They were responsive and it was good.

He did a decent job. He was very polite and offered good recommendations for what he could do. I had to use him because he was who my home owners insurance could authorize. Someone else had already figured out what the problem was. He took their word and replaced the part. In order to get the part that day he had to go and get the part right away and then come over to my house. Other wise it would have been 24 before he could pick up the part.

That was fine. They were here on time and did a through job. They were effective and efficient.

It turned out alright. He figured out what the problem was and took care of it.

I left a message last night. Dana called me this morning and was out in the afternoon. Dana worked around my schedule for the appointment time. Great service, very professional. Sitting in the AC right now.

The central air (a very old system) wasn't cooling the house- at all. We called Dana and he showed up that day (a very hot day, too), on time. He diagnosed the problem (checking the system inside and out), fixed the problem (which included a run to a parts supply store for a valve), and cleaned up after the work was done. He was very courteous and professional; he just got to work and saw it through to its completion. He not only didn't exceed his estimate, but beat it by $15. He did *not* try to sell us a new a/c system, but made recommendations for the future (per our request) on how to keep the current system running and what it will cost when we decide to upgrade. We will absolutely ask for his services again- for the a/c or the furnace, if need be. Thanks Dana!

I called to schedule to have them come out and look at my AC that was running, but not cooling. The owner was in the area, so he was able to stop by a few hours later. Turns out that my 17 year old AC unit had rusted a good bit, and one of the wires burned/melted. He spent time to carefully clean contacts, replacing them when necessary, and thoroughly test the system inside and out. After quite a while (and practically re-wiring the outside unit) he determined that the compressor motor was likely frozen. He priced out a few different units, and only charged 65$ due to the problem not being resolved (he spent well over 90min). He even offered to cap a few gas lines that I had asked about that were near the cooling lines. After talking to my wife I called him back and agreed to purchase an upper range unit. He called me back the following day, and asked if he could come out and check 2 things that had occurred to him. He came out, and within 15 min had the AC working. He then spent the following hour capping the gas lines anyway. When everything was done he charged me an additional 100$ for the time and parts used the day before, as well as the hardware to cap the pipes, and a small amount of the labor. That is right, he passed up a $2,600 sale to do the right thing, and did the odd extra work even though he wasn't going to be replacing cooling lines in the area. I can't say enough good things about how he is running his business!

Dana made a courtesy call and said that he would be a few minutes late due to an unexpected problem on another service call. He was no more than 10-15 minutes late for the appointment. He started to work right away and began checking for leaks. He thoroughly explained all the processes and all the options for repair. When I told him that I needed the unit up and running because there is a respiratory patient in the house he went above and beyond to get it going.

When I received the estimates they listed exactly what was going to be done, (I received another estimate from another company with just the bottom line cost). He was very prompt and courteous. I think he ran into a few unexpected things as the job progressed, but it was done very promptly and efficiently. A new program able thermostat was installed also and he explained how to program it. When the furnace was done he explained how it worked and how to keep it working efficiently. He was very contentious about what was done, cleaned up after himself. I am very pleased with what was done.

This was covered under our home warranty and so they came out through them. I think they did a very thorough job. They were here for quiet a long time diagnosing the problem, checking to insure the system was installed correctly and spent about all day because it was a pretty major rebuild that tended to be done. Everything was cleaned up nicely and they were very pleasant when I talked with them throughout the process. We were very pleased with their service on this job. They took time to verify manufactures specification for inlet and exhaust pipe diameters to ensure that the design met code and was safe. I felt that they went beyond the normal call of the repair they were sent in to do.

The service call was set up for the next day after my call for service. Dana was prompt for the desired time of the service call, even a couple of minutes early. He was very professional with his service call. After replacement of the failed items he checked his truck to see if he had a replacement drive belt. Dana did not have a replacement in his truck. It was decided he would go to a supplier and get a replacement belt and install it today. He was back within the hour after going for the belt. After he installed the belt and finished up he cleaned up the area by the furnace. The last thing I had him do was check my hot water heater. We decided that he would get in touch with me on Monday with the info I needed to repair a leak in the heater. Dana was very pleasant while working and we would certainly use him again. When I initially talked to him on the phone he quoted my a price for the diagnosis of my problem. When I told him I chose his company from Angie's List, he gave me a discount for the diagnosis service call. What a pleasant surprise.

We've never had our furnace serviced or checked in the three years we've lived in this house. In the spring it was making some weird noises so we wanted to have it checked before we turned it on for the winter. Dana was able to fit us into his schedule within 24 hours of our call, which was fine for us, as it wasn't an emergency and we weren't planning to use the furnace for awhile. As it turned out, it kicked on that night and the noise wasn't there. The next day when he came out he checked everything and did a routine cleaning. He was professional and patient, answering some basic questions that helped me understand the furnace a little more (this is our first house). I appreciated his patience, as sometimes when people do work, they don't want to take time to explain things. He was very patient and polite.

I called Dana at 9am to inspect a furnace that was malfunctioning. He showed up in 30 minutes as promised and had the parts to repair the furnace on hand. The furnace was up and running again about 1 hr after my initial phone call!
