Description of Work: We recently moved to a house which has a large wooded lot. After living there a couple of months, I noticed a mouse in the living room and also saw mouse droppings. I called Cleveland Chemical after reading many profiles, and I liked the fact that they do follow-up visits without charging extra. Jim, who did the first visit, came back for the follow-up; and since he kept track of where he put each trap, he was able to see if the mice were taking the bait. I should also add that at the first visit, Jim didn't just set the traps, he also went around the entire perimeter of the basement (inside and out) and pointed out all small holes and spaces that needed to be caulked or patched up to prevent mice from coming in the future. He also suggested ways to cover the dryer vent. Although we were entitled to as many visits as we needed during this 90-day period, we did not need them. In conclusion, excellent company, very knowledgeable, able to explain things well to their clients, Hopefully I don't have mice again, but if I do, I wouldn't hesitate to call Cleveland Chemical Pest Control.

Description of Work: Our tenants told us that they had bedbugs. We immediately called the professionals CLEVELAND CHEMICAL PEST CONTROL INC who we have used for many home related pests. Ben Nye was at the apartment the next day and reassured us that we had the bugs but it was not an infestation. We made an appointment for Ben and a partner to spray the apartment. They were on time and finished on time. 3 weeks later they returned to inspect the apartment and it was bug free. We were extremely grateful to the professional folks at CLEVELAND CHEMICAL PEST CONTROL INC, they solved our problem! | |

Person who answered the phone was very informative. Even when I called back with a question. They called back right away and were very pleasant.
Description of Work: I had a winter ant problem. Cement (sugar) ants were in bathroom and kitchen. Called company to come out to take care of ant problem.

I CALLED AND ASKED THEM TO SPRAY OUR BASEMENT. THEY SAID THEY WOULD HAVE TO KNOW WHAT TYPE OF INSECT WAS CAUSING THE PROBLEM. ASKED IF WE KNEW THE TYPE OF INSECT. THE PEOPLE AT THE OFFICE WERE EXTREMELY PLEASANT TO TALK TO OVER THE PHONE AND IN PERSON. WHEN I WENT TO GET THE STICKY PADS FROM THEM, THEY GAVE THEM TO ME FOR NO COST, EVEN THOUGH I WAS TOLD THEY WERE GOING TO SELL THEM TO ME. THE GENTLEMAN THAT CHECKED THESE PADS OUT WHEN I TOOK THEM BACK TOOK HIS TIME IN IDENTIFYING EVERY INSECT ON ALL 7 PADS. IT WAS VERY INTERESTING TO SEE ALL THE TYPE OF INSECTS IN MY BASEMENT. THE PRICE WAS ALSO TERRIFIC. I HAD CALLED ANOTHER PEST CONTROL COMPANY AND THEY WANTED $150-$200 TO SPRAY THE WHOLE HOUSE, WHICH I DIDN'T WANT.
Description of Work: THEY HAD ME GET SOME STICKY PADS FROM THEM (NO COST ) AND PLACE THEM AROUND, THE BASEMENT, AND TO RETURN THEM IN 7 DAYS. I DID THIS AND THEY PUT THEM UNDER A MICROSCOPE TO IDENTIFY THE INSECTS. (NO COST ) THEY TOLD ME I COULD BUY THE SPRAY AND DO IT MYSELF. (COST $22.50) WHAT A SAVING.
