In the end, everything works well.
Description of Work: Two windows and one storm door. The storm door was mounted in a way that prevented us from opening it to 90 degrees. I contacted the company and they came out and repaired it. It now works as intended.

Description of Work: Ordered a 11x17 patio awning on 3/10/16 was told it would take 6 weeks. (no problem yet) Because of the size it had to have a variance awarded for a permit and they meet only once a month, however this company missed two meetings and now I have made 3 payments and still no product and they only have until 7/8/16 to complete to get their money. I have been calling to get something going, they get the permit and I'm told they have to get bigger jobs done first. Now I'm talking to the store manager and said how about some compensation for the delay he says no way basically but now they have missed the 7/8/16 window for the special financing for me and they want to know how do I want to pay off the balance, IE:credit card, check or cash. I said no I want the financing, so now I'm working with them to get this done because they could not meet the window. The job was done pretty nice and the installer was very professional and respectful and did a nice job of cleaning up after himself, however he did 98 percent of the job himself, it seems this Champion store doesn't believe in team work or customer care. I wanted to see how this job would do to see if I would have more work done, not now. If it wasn't for the installer I would have graded them a F.

Description of Work: Replaced 20 windows and front door including sidelights. |Installation went well but they told me to finish up the caulking and touch up paint. Installer said they could do it but it would look terrible. | |I was very disappointed to find out after the window installation that the new screens can only be put back in from the outside. So when I remove screens to hang wreaths on 11 front windows for the holidays I will have to use an extension ladder in the spring to put the screens back in. I would have chosen different windows had I known this ahead of time.

Description of Work: Replaced 11 windows. Likely as good as any vinyl window on the market. Pricey, but how else do you offer such a warranty? Though, I didn't get the lifetime warranty promised by their sales manager. He was also unaware of the fact that a half screen is not bug-proof if used with an open upper sash. Motivation for our choice of double hung window. Technicians were great, and I believe a good installation is at least as important, if not more so, than the quality of the window.

Description of Work: I contracted with Champion to replace 16 windows and a patio door. Their representative, Mike Pichichero, was extremely courteous, well-informed and personable. He is the perfect representative, not the least bit pushy and met our budget quickly. The windows will be installed in August and I'm confident we'll be delighted.

SALESMAN ARRIVED AND ASKED IF MY WIFE WOULD BE JOINING US. WHEN HE FOUND OUT SHE WASN'T HE ASKED IF THERE WAS ANOTHER TIME HE COULD COME BACK. TOLD HIM I DIDN'T KNOW MY WIFE WOULD BE REQUIRED TO BE PRESENT. I TOLD HIM I DIDN'T LIKE HIS ATTITUDE, IT WASN'T GOING TO HAPPEN AND TO GET OUT OF MY HOUSE. I REFUSED TO BE HIGH PRESSURED, AND I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE ELSE USING THIS COMPANY TO DO THE SAME. I ALSO PLAN ON REPORTING THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICES TO THE BBB.
