I really, really like them and I think they are going to do my deck. They are local-schmocal. They are very good, excellent and reasonable. I think I paid about $3.00 a square foot for the refinishing of the hardwood floors which is very reasonable. They do installation too. Their availability is an A. They are busy right now but they are still an A; they always get back to you. They're so nice. I wasn't moved into the house yet when they did the work so I just left the door open.

Dan and Darren are true professionals....more like craftsmen who know their job. They give you a complete detail of their project, upfront about their pricing, and does a number of extras along the way. Very confident when I first spoke with Dan and they followed through with every detail of the project. Pleasure to work with. Very happy with their work.

The price was too high. Everything was fine and it was just that the estimate was too high. That was the first estimate that we had got so we didn’t have anything to compare with. Their responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism were very good.

Darren and Dan stepped in to do this job when the contractor we originally signed with hurt his back. They honored the original contract price and completed the entire job in one week. They did an outstanding job and were very patient with our questions all along the way. The floors are beautiful, and the stairs are truly unique. Darren and Dan really appreciate old floors, and do their best to make them look fantastic.

Dan was punctual and pleasant when he came to provide a quote. He thoroughly discussed the refinishing process with me and explained my options with regard to finishing products. Their quote was reasonable and they were able to perform the work sooner than later. On the day of the work Darren and Dan were punctual, professional and thorough. We were very pleased with the final outcome. We elected to apply a high-traffic finish and it has held up very well as we've moved into the house and have experienced a lot of foot traffic from several service providers. I definitely recommend Caswell Brothers for your refinishing needs - they will be back at our home to perform work on our staircases.

Our main floor all had hardwood except the dinning room which had carpet. We originally planned to try and refinish the floors ourselves but when we looked under the carpet decided it would be better to get a professional?s opinion. Caswell was the second company we had out for an estimate. We thought there was hardwood under the carpet with a layer of linoleum glued on top of it and the first company didn?t disagree with our guess. We are so glad that Dan Caswell took the time to really look at our project and had the expertise to recognize that we really did not have hardwood under the carpet. We actually had pine board under the linoleum. Dan took the time to walk us through the project. He discussed the tricks they use to match the new wood to our existing floors. He was very detailed in his estimate and happily answered all questions we had. All of the estimates we had were within a couple hundred of each other with Caswell in the middle. We did end up using Caswell because they were so detailed and knowledgeable. They ripped up carpet and linoleum in our dinning room and a hall, installed new wood in the dinning room and refinished the dinning room, living room and hallway. Their estimated time frame was 2.5 days. They finished in 2 days and the results are spectacular. You really can?t tell the difference between the new floor and old floor. Overall it was a great experience and we would highly recommend this company.

The work proceeded rapidly and with great results. This was a better, cleaner way to get wood floors refinished.

Caswell Brothers said they would call us with a couple of references we could contact for more information. Instead, one reference called us and left a message for us later that day. This reference then proceeded to call us about 8 times over the next several hours (we were not home each time but could see the name on caller ID). This was creepy. I would suggest finding another person to offer potential customers as a reference or give us the name and number, as you originally said you would, and let us call him at our convenience.

VERY professional. I am so thankful I used this company. I got a great price and wonderful new floors.

They were wonderful. They were very clean, very thorough and efficient. The whole process was done in 5 days and we could walk on the floors every night.
