Response from Cardinal Maids
Hi [member name removed], First off I’d like to sincerely apologize about the miscommunication. We’re sorry your house wasn’t able to be cleaned for the following day. However, because of the events that took place, we do not believe we deserve an F rating. Although we did tell you when we had availability, we never heard back from you, and thus never told you we had made an appointment, and never sent you a confirmation email. When we spoke on the phone, you told me yourself you “didn’t have time to check your Angie’s List messages.” I don’t see how that leaves us to blame. In addition, after you hung up on our dispatcher, we called back and left a voicemail explaining we may be able to get a last minute cleaning to your home for the day. You never called back so we could not arrange anything for you. We deal with many customers every day and ultimately if a customer doesn’t respond to one of our messages we cannot be responsible for hunting down every one. We do not believe you are to blame, as we understand how the miscommunication happened, but at the same time we do not think we are to blame. And we certainly don’t believe an F rating is fair. We’re sorry about the mishap and the stress it caused you for the weekend, truly. That was never our intention. Sincerely, Elise
