This report is long overdue. My apologies to C-Town Painting. We had C-town do some painting for us several years ago, so they were my first call this time. They were a pleasure to work with. Because we were having our floors done first, our start time for painting kept getting pushed back. Gayle, in the office, and Bill Ranalli were very patient with us. Once we started the painting, Bill would go over with us the work to be done and what they had finished at the end of the day. They were scrupulously protective of our newly finished floors. Not one drop of paint was spilled on them. The crew was polite, professional and tried to be as unintrusive as possible. They cleaned up after themselves everyday and upon completion of the work, cleaned again. We added a few things as we went along and Bill was very flexible. He was very sensitive to the fact that we were working with an interior designer and that we sometimes wanted to consult with her as we progressed. I would defintely call them again and I appreciate the great customer service they gave us.
Description of Work: We redecorated our entire first floor. We had our hardwood floors done first, then had C-Town do extensive painting. They painted the living room (approx. 15x25') walls in two shades (highlighted area) and the ceiling. They painted a small foyer, walls and ceiling. They painted the trim and ceiling in the dining room and they painted the spindles (60) and posts on the staircase to the second floor. They removed the paper from the sun porch and painted the walls and trim. The sun porch has 8 sets of casement windows. They painted the small downstairs half bath.

Description of Work: Bill Ranalli and his crew of C-Town Painting were charged with cleaning/power washing two small decks, sealing two small cedar decks with two coats of clear sealer, sealing two garden benches with clear sealer, and painting two pillars on one of the decks. The job was completed in a timely fashion, and the job itself was done fairly well. The issue we have with C Town and Bill Ranalli is as follows: We notified Bill the day after he completed the job that he needed to return to our home to observe what we believe to be paint on our brick patio and drive way. It appears to us that the crew must have been working on another painting project while also working at our home. How the paint ended up on our patio is unknown. We had a clear sealer and white paint used on our project, not black paint, which is on our patio and drive. I was not home the entire time the crew was working at the house. We have contacted Bill at least three times over this issue. Twice he has said that he would come by and view the damage and once he has not returned our call. During the two calls on which we did speak with him, Bill vehemiently denied that he and his crew had anything to do with the damage, yet he has failed to come and view what we believe to be damage caused by his crew. Bill Ranalli's dishonesty and lack of ability to assume responsibility for his work--for better or worse--is stunning. In order to resolve the problem, Bill and C Town Painting need to: 1) Respond to our request to come and view the damage 2) Acknowledge the damage 3) Assume responsibility for the damage 4) Clean/repair the damage at their own time and expense Its preposterous to accuse, as Bill does, that we were somehow responsible for the paint being on the patio when he and his crew were the only ones on the patio using any painting materials--that's why we hired HIM--to paint. We will be happy to revise our review if and when Bill Ranalli and C-Town Painting repairs the damage to our patio and drive.

Mr. Ranalli arrived on time to perform the estimate and got back to us with a price within two days. He began the work on the agreed upon date and completed the job in 5 days. We gave him a $500 down payment. We paid the remainder on the last day of the job. Including Mr. Ranalli, there was a three man crew. They did an excellent job cleaning up; even wet mopped the kitchen and bathroom floors when they were finished. Mr. Ranalli and his men were polite and professional. We would certainly hire C-Town Painting again.
Description of Work: Removed wallpaper in a 13 x 10ft kitchen, a 12 x 18 ft master bathroom, and a 7 x 12ft bathroom. Also removed a border wallpaper print in a 10 x 15ft laundry room, a 11 x 11ft bedroom, and in a 18 x 12ft master bedroom. Repaired drywall in the 7 x 12ft bathroom and elsewhere as needed. Patched and painted these rooms, plus the rest of the house (including a 10 x 15ft entryway and 24 x 15ft living/dining room. Also painted the ceilings and the interiors of the closets. The cost of the paint was included in the price.
