He was very informative and did a fantastic job. He knew what he was doing and gave a very detailed review.

He inspected my house (I'm the seller). He's done this twice in the past several weeks. The first time a few weeks ago, he claimed that I need $12,000 of repairs. Primarly related to a "leaking basement". My basement is newly finished and does not leak and hasn't had water in it anytime during my 4 years at the home. Now he scared another potential buyer by making the claim of that it now needs $30,000 in repairs. But while I was observing Tom, his "tool" for checking for moisture indicated no moisture in the basement. Now how can two weeks cause $18,000 of damage to occur on my home, if I was showing the home during this time? Nothing has broken, nothing was changed, nothing was done to the home during this time. Another issue that bothers me is that, I also heard him commenting on my personal belonging in the home and how he wouldn't put things like garbage cans where I had them. What does that have to do with the integrity of my home? He has also made what appears to be false statements to the client including claiming to have inspected this home for me. I'm the third owner of this home. He was not my inspector. My house is not brand new and I have reduced the price accordingly for the roof, which is about the only major area that needs improvement. But it doesn't leak and never has while I've been owner of the home. If his report indicates that the basement has moisture, he himself said it didn't. It's a 1940's bungelow for goodness sakes, it's not a brand new $5,000,000 mansion. It's a I also think it is a bit unethical that he charges another client his full price for a house he just inspected days ago. And spends over two and half hours nit-picking every detail and my personal decorating tastes. This inspector has clearly not acted in good faith for any of the parties involved by clearly overstating the significance of conditions. I would be surprised if any homes inspected by this indivual have ever sold at the price that was previously agreed or at all.

EVERYTHING WAS GOING JUST FINE UNTIL HE GOT TO THE BASEMENT WHEN HE SNAPPED AT MY MOTHER WHEN SHE QUESTIONED A CERTAIN PART OF THE WALL. 10 DAYS LATER, THAT SAME PART OF THE WALL DEVELOPED A HUGE CRACK WHICH WILL COST US THOUSANDS TO REPAIR. WE WERE GIVEN HIS NAME FROM THE SELLER'S REALTOR, WHO WAS ALSO RELATED TO THE SELLER, AND I FEEL LIKE IT WAS PROBABLY AND INSIDE JOB.

MR. GABA WAS THOROUGH AND WORKED HARD. HE FOUND SOME PROBLEMS IN THE HOUSE THAT I WAS GOING TO BUY. THANKS TO HIM, WE WERE ABLE TO SOLVE THE SITUATION. I WILL USE HIM AGAIN.

WE WERE VERY HAPPY TO PAY THIS AMOUNT FOR WHAT WE LEARNED. HE MADE A POINT TO EDUCATE US ABOUT OUR NEW HOME. INFO WAS VERY USEFUL, AND WE WERE ABLE TO INCORPORATE HIS SUGGESTIONS INTO THE PURCHASE AGREEMENT. WOULD USE HIM AGAIN.
