Bright Eyed Moving

There were 3 movers one had only been with the co for a few months the other two only a couple of weeks with no prior experience. They did not bring a big enough truck so We had to help by packing our own vehicles in order to expedite the move and telling them how to upright or level items to make it easier to move. It was more expensive than estimated quote because they were inexperienced and therefore not efficient with timing.

Very smoothly and efficiently. The crew wrapped everything very carefully and kept exact records of items loaded onto and off the truck. They unpacked everything carefully, positioned pieces exactly where we indicated, and fulfilled a few special placement requests with polite professionalism. No damage, nothing missing.

All crew members were professional, hardworking and nice. Only glitch was that even though the piano was a baby grand grand and the scheduler was informed that that the stairway was unusually steep, only 3 men were sent and it was too heavy and unsafe for them to move it. A second moving event had to be scheduled for the piano which the company did without hesitation and made every effort to work around the schedule of my new job and other complications to get the piano to me as soon as they could. I would use them again.

When I spoke to the person from Bright Eyed Movers on the phone he said they were to busy to go out to the home and give actual quotes. They did phone estimates based on the preparedness of my parents. I told him that we were trying to get quotes (which have limits as to how much more can be charged) from three different movers who would also be packing the house. If they were packing the house preparedness wouldn't be an issue. I repeatedly told him that I really needed a written quote and already had two movers set up to meet with us next week. He said that he couldn't guarantee that they would have anyone available to come out but if they did, they would call me. I got so frustrated with the whole process of a phone estimate without limits because he has never seen the house, that I finally said, "if you don't want our business, I will find another mover on Angie's List to get a quote from". He was again insistent that they could do a phone estimate based on my parents preparedness. I finally told him not to bother as I wasn't looking for a guess sight unseen from a company that was going to be responsible for packing and moving everything in their home. I gave up an hung up. They potentially lost somewhere between $10,000-$12,000 move because all they want to do is give phone estimates sight unseen. Totally unacceptable. We moved last summer and interviewed several companies, all of which sent someone from the company who walked the house and gave us or emailed us a very specific quote with a very specific parameter of overage they would be allowed to charge. I am not willing to have someone give me a guestamite over the phone with no guarantees that they couldn't double the cost when they come out to move them. My parents have 3,700 square feet plus my father's workshop and the screened porch to move. It is absolutely ridiculous to assume you can even give a close estimate over the phone for packing and moving their home. Very frustrating. 8/8/2017 UPDATE: HE TRIED TO STRONG ARM ME TO TRY TO GET ME TO TAKE THIS REVIEW DOWN, AND I REFUSED. HE SAID I WAS RUINING HIS BUSINESS!!

Son-in-law needed to move an entire 3 bedroom home over Memorial Day weekend. Was nervous about availability on a holiday weekend on short notice but Bright Eyed came through with a 4 person team on a Saturday morning. Movers were about 1.5 hours late due to truck issues but were able to compensate with a 5% discount on price on top of an already 5% discount. The movers were very professional, friendly, and took care of delicate furniture. Not the sharpest when it came to navigating difficult angles or doorways but a couple tips from him helped the team move from one house into another in under 4 hours. Would hire again for future moves.

Where do I start The good: they were on time The bad: Time went over what the initial estimate, seems like the guy in the office may have been underestimating. Lots of dents in the wall in the hallway ( as part of their contract they say they can fill these but I am afraid i'll end up with a huge piece of plaster over the area). In the new house one mover basically gave up moving, It was hot that day but when you are paying by the hour this definitely can extend the move. Two movers basically started cursing each other out in front of everyone (no matter what dropping the F word while at work is not very professional). If I had to move again (which I hope not too for now) I will go with another company.

They were friendly, professional and on time. I would hire them again.

They were polite and hardworking. These guys had no problem with not traking mud on my new carpet or keeping my furniture (or the wallls) from getting scuffed up. Also very helpful with extra boxes and tape.

Moving is stressful, but Spensir and his team made it as painless as possible for my family. Spensir came to my home and walked through it with me, noting the large items and whether we intended to move each one, and then provided a reasonable quote for packing and for moving. Spensir worked within my budget for the whole package. His team arrived on time and ready to work on each of the packing and moving days. They were courteous and cognizant of my small children as they were packing and moving special items. I highly recommend this team!

They were moved very slowly to extend the time.

It went extremely well. This was the second time I used bright eyed moving company. The people in the office and the movers were very professional and helpful. I really appreciated when the workers took the time to measure doorways to determine the best way to move the furniture into the room. I have already recommended them to other people that are moving.

In NY two men arrived on time with a 26' truck a car trailer, plenty of moving blankets and even had extra supplies. These guys were strong and careful. They even helped pack things that weren't quite ready. In North Carolina same thing. Everything went smoothly. When we arrived our vintage car was already waiting for us. They arrived on time. They went beyond our expectations. No breakage whatsoever. Can't say enough. They were great!

They moved my antique piano down several flights of stairs in CO and up stairs in WA. Yes a few things were broken, but 99% Arrived in perfect shape. I recently unpacked a gingerbread house. A small section of the roof slid but it was amazingly INTACT! These guys really care. They helped me move my husbands gun safe. They managed the challenge of fitting furniture into a small 100 year old house. Just great!

I relocated from Roanoke Va back to Dallas TX and the move was flawless. Alex and Jacob were incredibly professional and careful with my items. Alex loaded my goods in VA and unloaded in TX and was right on time and had me moved in after 1 1/2 hours. Excellent job!

Bright Eyed movers did an incredible job. They where very professional and courteous for myself and family. Sometimes moving can be a stressful thing but I can honestly say it was pleasurable with Bright Eyed movers. They by far where the best moving company I ever hired and I highly recommend them!!

Great! The three young men did a great job. They were helpful and very professional. The company worked with my schedule. Everything was handled with care and placed just like I wanted in the new place. Definitely recommend them.

My experience with Bright Eyed movers started with very pleasant call to their office, and a couple of weeks later they arrived ready to pack up my things. The two men that arrived followed instructions carefully and showed a lot of care and respect for my things..some of which were very old! I was pleasantly surprised that packing only took about 45 minutes and they even wrapped a few of my items in plastic just in case. When we arrived at the new apartment, they unloaded and carried all my things efficiently up the staircase to the 4th floor. Their friendly service and quick work made my move a very easy transition, and a very pleasant memory. I can't recommend them enough!

Very good and timely and nice men as well

They were late and incredibly slow. I called the office when they were 40 minutes late, and was told the movers would call. I called again when they were 90 minutes late and again when they were over 2 hours late. They finally called 2 1/2 hours late. It took them over 2 hours to make 10 trips from the 3rd floor to their truck. For comparison, when I moved into the apartment a year ago, the two man crew from a different moving company made 15 trips in 1 hour.

The movers were right on time, and had even called ahead to verify with me when they would be arriving. They were very careful to ensure that no damage was done to the piano during the move. They came well prepared with all the tools and supplies they needed to ensure a safe and swift move. They secured the piano to a piano dolly to move it out of the house, and their truck was equipped with a lift gate to get it in and out of the truck. They also covered and secured the piano very well in the truck to make sure it didn't go anywhere while traveling to my house. My piano arrived safe and sound in their truck and they unloaded just as carefully as they loaded. They got it up my porch steps and into my living room with no problems. The workers were friendly and cordial and did a great job for me! I used Bright Eyed Moving a few months ago when we moved here to unload our 28' moving truck and they were fantastic then as well, hence the reason I came back to them. Spensir at the office was great to work with and found me the help I needed in the time frame I needed it scheduled. I would highly recommend them for any of your moving needs! Overall, a great experience!
