 + 0 moreIt's been three weeks and the contractor will not return calls. He did collect money up front for "supplies" but did not leave these "supplies" at the home. I am working with my neighbor now to try and get another contractor over to fix the mess. In the mean time, my neighbor had the roof inspected by other contractors who told her there is nothing wrong with the roof but they do not do repairs on work someone else messed up. We are now contacting a handyman to see if he will put the roof back the way it was. What a sad commentary on how this contractor tried to take advantage of an older lady. She asked me to post this on Angie's List since she is not a member and I did the initial search on this contractor for her.
Description of Work: These comments pertain to the experience my older neighbor has had with this contractor. Job was to repair a small section of rotting wood at the corner of the roof. Contractor talked her into adding ridge vents, ice guard, edge guard, etc. After removing 2 rows of shingles on multiple sides of the house, she was told that the roof was in very poor shape and needs to be replaced. She had me get involved with the contractor since she didn't know what to do.
