They came and gave an estimate when they said they would. The work was done on time and very clean and neat. The people were professional and pleasant to have in my home.

They were the second or third company I had called and when I gave them the other offers that I had received and they matched them even though they were probably $100 more they matched what I had so I gave them the job. I also hired them because of their reputation. I gave them the down payment and they showed up when they said they would. They got the job done in 2 hours and removed all the debris. I will use them again.

The representative who came out to do the work was great. I was happy with the work and the entire experience. So far the windows are working out fine and are exactly what I wanted.

The overall experience was positive, and we would probably use them again, however some aspects were a little disappointing. The estimation process was fine. We were given a straightforward estimate for the 5 glass block windows that we needed. CGB was significantly less than another company that we received an estimate from, and only a little more than a private individual who we got an estimate from. For the small additional amount over the individual (<10%), we figured having the warranty and company behind it was worth it. Unfortunately, the installation process could have gone better. At our first install appt. the installer arrived, saw that we have poured concrete walls (as opposed to the more common cinder block) , and told us that he did not have the correct tools to do the job, due to some other difficulties he was having. (Apparently the fact that we had poured walls was not on the original work order.) We had to reschedule, although got a relatively quick turn-around, as you would expect, since it was their problem. The installation went well and the windows look and function well. They look good from both the inside and outside. No debris left from old windows, as expected. I can tell that the installer was careful about woodwork on finished side of the basement. Windows appear to be solid and well-installed. The windows were built and installed with grout rather than silicon, our choice. The installer did bring his own shop vac and did clean-up. However, he could have done a better job of clean-up in our basement, and could have done simple things--like cover a washing machine--to reduce the clean-up needed overall. If you use this company, this is something I would recommend stressing and checking thoroughly before they leave.

The experience with Cleveland Glass Block was very good. The person estimating the job arrived as scheduled. The price was slightly higher than other estimates. We went over the options and the guarantee. The job was ordered, but we had to wait about a month because of their busy schedule. They called the day before the installation to be sure I would be home. The installer arrived on time and completed the job in about four hours. Bob the Installer, was pleasant and professional. He nicely cleaned the area and was on his way. The windows let more light in and we are very pleased. We recommend them highly!

They came and gave us an estimate right away, and we're scheduled to have that done at the end of the month. They were very professional, and very thorough in their estimate, and very clear as to where the money was going, and they were knowledgeable about the types of glass blocks we needed.

I called was immediately scheduled an appointment at my convenience. I canceled the appointment because I hire a contractor to do all of the work I needed done.

Called to get an estimate on one garage window and a new entry door into garage. First appointment available was in approx 10 days. On the scheduled appointment day, after rushing home from work, I got a call from the estimator 5 minutes before appointment saying he was in another county, most likely wouldn't get there, blamed his company for not letting him out of wherever he was. Asked me again what I wanted and proceeded to give me an average price for door installation. I have no problem with companies needing to cancel appointments, but calling at the scheduled appointment time saying your in Lake county & won't make it to Summit County in time is just blatant disregard for anyone else's time. Call as soon as you know you won't make it on time.

I had gotten other quotes that was much cheaper, but decided to go with them after reading comments from other customers on this site. I was not disappointed. Chris arrived within the said time period. Worked very fast and efficiently and did an excellent job. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. Appreciate the professionalism.

I thought the two guys who came to install the window did a quick, efficient job. It only took about an hour. The only thing I noticed was that the metal window trim that is seen on the outside of the house looks just slightly wavy at one corner. I don't think it's worth doing anything about. The only thing that could be improved is a little better communication with the sales rep who did the estimte. I asked for the largest possible vent in the window to help with air flow in the bathroom. He didn't explain at that time that to get a vent larger than the standard size of 8 x 16 inches, would require a special order and cost more. This wasn't explained til the window was already being built at their shop. I decided not to go with anything larger than standard, but still would have liked that explained better.

It was a wonderful experience. Dave Jarosz came to our house on time and gave us an estimate on the glass block windows, as well as replacement windows for the rest of the house. He had samples of the glass block with him, although he did not have the replacement window samples. We signed the contract for the glass block at that time. It was a no-pressure visit. Work was scheduled for the Monday of the following week. The installer arrived at about 0800 and was done by noon. Clean-up was excellent. The only casualty was an already dead plant in our flower garden. The house looks so much better, and the airflow is great in the basement. There is so much more light and nothing leaks now.

They were great. They came out the week after I called and was very professional. He answered all my questions and concerns. We had changed our minds on some things and he was understanding with us. He was very cooperative. They did it when they said they would.

Good price, but a little more compared to other service provider because of distance from the facility to residence.

Sam showed up a few minutes behind schedule but apologized for doing so. He spent the better part of the morning preparing the areas for the install. He was very thorough and explained what he was doing before he did it. There was Little to no mess, he took the old windows away as well. Sam put the new windows in very carefully and precisely everything matched and all went very well. Great Job!!!! WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND, WILL DO BUSINESS IN FUTURE!!!! Have a few windows in bathroom and sun room that I will have them do next.

This went very well! Sam did an excellent job! I really liked that the same contractor that visited our home to give the estimate was the one who did the work. The window looks great!

Dave Jarosz came out to give me the estimate, he was very knowledgeable and professional, his pricing came in less than some other companies I talked to. I called them afterwards to ask a few questions and then scheduled service. All went without a hitch. There was one installer who arrived in the morning and worked all day to install the windows. watched him set up the windows and realized he did not have two vented windows on one side as planned, so was able to inform him of this before he began cementing them in. I assume he would have realized later when he saw how many vented windows he had, but the job may have taken longer if he had to take out windows. He finished the job cleaned up almost completely, and left. He ran out of room in the truck but managed to get just about everything. There is one mortar job on the inside that doesn't seem finished which I reported and will have repaired soon. Overall I was happy with the service and would hire them again.

Their price was excellent. They came in on time and put the windows in. They had to come back to finish the outside trim. The workmanship was high quality. The salesman was very helpful working with me and I would highly recommend them.

They came very quickly to do an estimate, and scheduled the work within a week even despite the massive snow storm in early March. Did great work and cleaned up nicely. Sam and his partner were on time and polite. We picked them over their competitor as their estimate was $300 cheaper. They came in at exactly the estimated price.

Overall okay. The cost of the installation was reasonable and the company worked with me to meet my deadline for installation. However, not the best work I have had done; not even the best work I have had done by this company. I had basement windows replaced by Cleveland Glass Block in my last house the two man team the company sent did a better job (no two man teams anymore). To be fair, the day that the work was done on my current house the weather was bad (very cold, rain, freezing rain and snow) and the installer did have to deal with the weather all day (I was his last stop). There was a lot of damage when the old windows were removed (some damage was expected) and there were gaps in the mortar used to cement in the new windows. I had to have the installer come back to repair these and it took over a week to schedule that repair. All this being said, the windows look good and I would use this company again for basement window replacement probably not for anything else.
