 + -1 moreWe have lived in Parma for 15+ years and have never been in Basista before, but I'm so glad we decided to just go in and see what kind of furniture they have. Rick M. was our sales associate and he was very professional. He never followed us through the store and was very helpful when we decided on our purchase. The prices on their furniture our reasonable and although we only bought a picture, we will definitely be back there to purchase furniture.

Description of Work: We ordered a sofa and love seat and Basista kindly waited until our carpeting was installed and then delivered them. I e-mailed them when a problem developed with the upholstery. Within one hour, they responded and said that they would send out someone to look at the sofas. | |The gentleman who looked at the sofas asked us when we wanted them picked up. We told him. They were picked up as arranged and returned in two days. Amazing! | |We have had them for one week. They look great. The service was phenomenal.

There is no pressure to buy and once you make your choice, the rest of the transaction is a breeze. They do not follow you around the store but are available for answers. Delivery was prompt and convenient and I was very pleased with the pricing. I have used them 3 times in the last 4 months. Highly recommend for a low-pressure atmosphere.

 + -1 moreMy son just got a job and new apartment in the Cleveland area. My wife and I went with him to buy bedroom and living room furniture. We went to the store in Parma. The salesman was very helpful but not pushy. We bought a queen size bed, mattress, and 2 end tables for the bedroom. We bought a sofa, recliner and 2 end tables for the living room. We ordered the furniture on Saturday and it was delivered the following Monday. The delivery people were very professional and courteous. The couch was large and they had to work to get it through the entrance of the apartment up to the second floor. Overall we were very pleased with the experience.

 + -1 moreEveryone we dealt with at Basista was very friendly and helpful. In the store, the salespeople were not pushy but were available to answer any questions we had. Their prices were competitive and we purchase a bed frame, mattress, and box spring. They delivered the new bed less than a week after it was ordered and were prompt in delivery and assembly. After the items were delivered, we realized our bed was too high! We immediately called Basista and they were able to schedule an exchange for a low profile box spring at no additional cost for return, restocking, or delivery of the new box spring. We had the new box spring set up within a week. Our phone calls were always returned promptly and we would definitely shop there for furniture again.

Description of Work: We live in an older bungalow and have unusual sized rooms. Basista is truly a full service furniture store. Upon our every visit we have been told that "if we don't have what you are looking for we can go to the books and find your just about anything and we have all of these fabrics for you to choose from for upholstered furniture." Wow, when we first went to Basista we were bowled over by the attentiveness and the desire to assist us in finding just the right piece of furniture. Just last month we made the decision to search for bedroom furniture and we truly have unusual angles and a room size that will accommodate a great deal of furniture but the walls brake at a certain point. Our salesperson, Ron Thuma, spent untold time with us and while our room would not accommodate the bedroom set we liked we were able to piece together pieces from the catalogue and fully furnish our challenging room. We got a new bed, (they even cut down the headboard to fit our room for free), two dressers, two more media chests and a large chest. It is well made and they deliver for free!!!!!! Who in the world does that anymore? Matt and Alex were our delivery people and they took their time and really wanted to please us with the positioning of the furniture. I cannot say enough about how pleased we are with this store. If you have gone to the usual stores and are looking for real customer service visit Basista.

The quality of their furniture was excellent and their service followup was superior. I would highly recommend them to anyone buying furniture in Cleveland.
Description of Work: Over the course of several trips to their showroom and their competitors, purchased a sofa, loveseat, and complete family room ensemble (coffee table, sofa table, nightstands, bookshelves). Basista delivered all items free of charge.
